In cases of tooth fracture or decay beneath the gum line, this procedure allows access for necessary treatments. Call us to schedule an appointment to determine if crown lengthening is the right solution for you.

Treatment for Exposed Tooth Roots

Gum recession and dental decay can leave your tooth roots exposed, resulting in significant discomfort and dental sensitivity. If decay is the cause of exposed roots, our team will recommend restorative treatment, such as a dental crown. You may also need gum surgery, especially if you suffer from periodontitis. During a gum graft, our periodontist will attach tissue over the receded part of your gums. We could also place a regenerative material to stimulate natural tissue growth.
