We're a little behind in officially welcoming our amazing new Board Member Lena Kaminski from .recovery to the team, but the delay is not in our appreciation for her services.

She and her team have been providing compassionate and caring post surgery aftercare support for our survivors at their beautiful location before transporting to our Face Forward surgical recovery home.

was honored to host on July 27th for a French themed wine tasting event to help kick off the Paris Olympics. And in the spirit of friendly competition there was even a "Brie Bake-off" where our Executive Director took 1st place, and a mini silent auction with items donated by our amazing Founder and long term supporter

A great time was had by all....and the Rotary Club of Los Angeles will be returning again in August for a service project at the house as well!!

For over 5 years after the act of violence against him, Dennis was left unable to fully close his eye, causing constant dryness and irritation, and making life as a nurse even more challenging. Thanks to Dr. Taban and his team, Dennis returned home very happy after surgery, and also getting to celebrate his 30th Birthday with us in Los Angeles as well! Thank you to everyone who made the surgical visit and Dennis' Birthday extra special 🤗💜🎂

Complex Trauma ("The trauma a child experiences being exposed to abuse and/or neglect, and the long term effects of that exposure.") is very real, and often has multi generational impact.
