You know what would make Petey, Percival and Primrose’s Labor Day weekend?! Finding new furever homes! These guys are about 7 weeks old and definitely ready to go to new families. Welcome to the Amanda Fam, little Quinn! Quinn is a 3 yr old Yorkie/Schnauzer mix, is the tiniest bit shy, but in her short time here at AF has quickly become a staff and volunteer favorite. She is about 18lbs, has been good with dogs and walks very politely on a leash. We are unsure how she is around kids, so for the moment are recommending an adult only home, but as we get to know her we will keep you updated! We experience a lot of difficult days in rescue, but it’s the special days like this that keep us going. Becky and Paul adopted our little Churro today and we just couldn’t be happier. Churro came from Harbor Shelter(thanks Delicia for getting her to us!) with a broken leg that is now healed, and we have every confidence that Churro will thrive in her new home with beloved feline sister and Amanda Alum, Josie. Becky and Paul have been the best kitty parents, and this will be their third Amanda black cat. Rest easy sweet Ophelia 🖤😇🐈‍⬛, we see you in little Churro. 🖤

This stunning white German Shepherd/Lab mix is just as beautiful as her celestial name suggests! At around 5 years old, Andromeda has gone through a lot in her life already, so she is ready to shine in a home that’s as kind and patient as she deserves.

Andromeda weighs about 80 lbs but should really be closer to 90. She’s housebroken, walks politely on a leash, and gets along great with other dogs 35 lbs and up (just no tiny pups or cats, please!).
