Yearbooks have arrived and are available for pickup in the front office each day from 8-1 Monday-Thursday and 8-11 Fridays. If you did not purchase one, you can purchase one for $40.

Pick up your child’s yearbook from the front office Mondays-Thursdays from 8am-1pm or Fridays 8am-11am.

Today, we celebrated Gourd-e turning TWO!! Students brought in gifts, and the faculty enjoyed a little popcorn treat! Gourd-e had a BLAST on his special day!

This morning we were able celebrate the OMHS graduates 🎓 good luck class 2024!

At last night's board meeting, OMIS was recognized for having the Highest Average Daily Attendance among all elementary/intermediate schools in the district!

Oak Mountain Elementary School's 3rd graders toured OMIS earlier this week and learned about 4th grade. We can't wait to see you in August!

Today 4th grade hosted their annual Career Day. Students visited with professionals in a variety of careers and learned how sometimes a hobby can turn into a career. Thank you to all of the wonderful volunteers who presented today.

Mrs. Easterling's fourth graders and Mrs. Cross' fifth graders collaborated on some amazing writing!

Our final jokester of the year was Calvin and he had a great joke!

During the month of May, Robotics parents were invited to come and see what their children created in After-School Robotics Enrichment class.

Four families experienced a full-circle moment during today's field trip - all parents are OMIS alumni with their kids.

Today, Mrs. Ottinger's 5th grade students had the opportunity to present their mock trial at the Shelby County Courthouse. The attorneys, judge, jury, and audience had a fantastic day of learning.

Ms. McDonald’s students are learning with robot coding!

We had a great morning welcoming the 3rd graders from Inverness this morning. We can’t wait for them to join us in 4th grade next year.

We are excited to welcome OMES next week.
