The teacher assignments** have been posted & reading assessment sign-up is live. The sign-ups can be found on the OLE website, scroll down and click the elementary assessment day link. We can’t wait to see everyone on our assessment days!

Don’t forget to add our Kindergarten New Friends Night to your calendar!!! It’s August 28th from 5-6pm 🛝

Field Day is TODAY, May 17th 2024

Note from Mrs. Huber:
1/2 day for 3-5th graders is from 9:45-11 volunteers come at 9:25ish
1/2 day for K-2nd graders is from 12:45-2 volunteers come at 12:25ish
Treats will be provided in the last 10 minutes of the sessions. The treats are freezies.
The other 1/2 day will be spent indoors. Time will include fun activities with their class
5th graders will be helping during the K-2 sessions. They will be outside for both sessions.

Lunch and recess time will be normal.

Please bring a water bottle
Please have your child come prepared for the weather: sweatshirt, water bottle, tennis shoes, and sunscreen.
If it is canceled because of the rain we will do field day on Monday May 20th.

Each grade level has a designated color. If you do not have the exact color, wear something close to that color.

Bloomington Elementary Student Art Show is happening right now at the Bloomington Civic Center.

Led by Ms. Mason, there is artwork on display from 12 Olson students until May 22.

This event is free to the public. Please check it out and support our talented students. 🎨

It’s National Teacher Appreciation Week! Teachers are the backbone of any school district, going above and beyond to inspire, motivate and meet the needs of our students so they become the best they can be. Thank you to everyone who participated and donated to this year’s District-Wide Food Drive. Together, we were able to collect more than 8,600 pounds of non-perishable food and $8,220 in donations. Scholastic Book Fair was so much fun!

Getting books into kids' hands is what this event is all about! 📚

We were also able to provide $1700 worth of books directly to the Media Center! 👏👏👏

We are still accepting orders online through April 1st where 25% of each order will provide additional books directly to Olson.
