We've been talking about it for awhile, and Vuity finally launched last week. This is the first topical eye drop ever launched to help you read without reading glasses. While it's too soon to know how well it works, it is slowly becoming available in pharmacies!

Welcome Dr. Davis! Last month we announced that Dr. Brian Davis would be joining our office and the time has finally come! He is now accepting new patients so if you're in need of your yearly eye exam please feel free to give us a call to schedule with him.

We are pleased to announce the arrival of Dr. Brian Davis who will begin seeing patients on October 11. Dr. Davis comes to us from Las Vegas, Nevada and is a graduate of Brigham Young University in Provo, and Marshall B. Ketchum University in Fullerton, California. He holds a special interest in complex contact lens fitting and primary care. Fluent in Spanish as well he enjoys spending time with his wife and 3 beautiful children. We hope you enjoy meeting him!

It's fun eye fact Friday! Did you know that pirates use to wear earrings because they thought it improved their eyesight? We don't suggest trying their method, call and schedule an exam with us instead and we'd be happy to suggest a more effective alternative!

With all the changes this pandemic has brought, time on devices and staring at screens has definitely increased! So if you're noticing that you are having some eye strain and fatigue try giving your eyes a break and follow the 20/20/20 rule. Your eyes will thank you later! 🤓

As much fun as we've all had so far this summer, school is right around the corner! Whether you're at home on a computer for school or you're in the classroom, we can make sure you are seeing the best you can so you learn the best you can!

July is dry eye awareness month! Have you been noticing that your eyes have been watering a lot? Maybe some itching and burning? You aren't alone! These are common symptoms of Meibomian Gland Dysfunction. But don't worry, we can help! Call to make an appointment with us and we'd be happy to find a solution that works best for you!

In observance of the 4th of July we will be closed this Friday, July 2 & Monday, July 5th for the staff to enjoy time with their families and celebrate. We will open again Tuesday, July 6th at 8am. Our optical department will be dispensing glasses and contacts until 5pm this evening. Happy 4th to everyone!

We are wishing Dr. McNeel a speedy recovery, he had shoulder surgery last Thursday and he is very missed here at the office! Send good vibes!

Due to staffing issues amid Covid 19, we will be closing at 6pm instead of 6:30 on Thursdays until further notice. We apologize for any inconvenience!

We will be closed tomorrow, July 3rd, in observance of the holiday. We will open for normal business hours Monday! Have a great weekend!

A few people have asked our response to the Coronavirus. In short, we are still open and seeing patients as usual. We do ask that patients exhibiting a fever, shortness of breath or persistent cough kindly reschedule. We will provide cleaning as-per AMA protocol before and after each patient encounter. Additionally, anyone who has traveled to China, Italy, France or Spain recently is asked to reschedule their appointment. When possible, please do not bring unnecessary additional family members to your appointment and we will all get through this crisis together.

Our optical department will be closed today until 3pm as we update our inventory for 2020. Product orders may still be picked up. Please call 208-938-2010 when you arrive and we will let you in.

We will be closing early on Friday, September 13 for a light remodel of the office. Back to business as usual on Monday the 16th. Come check it out when it's done!
