Our Dr. Kofoed had a wonderful opportunity to volunteer optometry services in Ghana this spring! Ghana Make A Difference was started in 2012 by Cory & Stacey Hofman from Star, Idaho, with a mission to preserve families and provide a path to self reliance through shelter, life skills, education and medical care. About 200 individuals were given eye exams by Dr. K and 98 prescription glasses will be delivered to them, as well as over 700 patients were screened for cataracts and 130 cataracts were found and scheduled for removal. This was an incredibly life-changing experience and we are so happy to have Dr. Kofoed as a part of our team!

What a week to remember here in the treasure valley offices!! This week we had a company wide employee appreciation lunch, celebrated Anne's 3 year, Kimberly's 2 year, and Ethan, Addy and Autumn's 1 year anniversaries of working with the Eye Pros, and last but certainly not least, Dr. Hansen's birthday!! Congrats to Addy, from the Boise Office, for passing the Certified Paraoptometric (CPO) Exam! We are super proud of her and how far she's come in the short time she's been working alongside us in our office. We're EXCITED to see what else she will accomplish with us in the future!!!!

Merry Christmas everyone!! Our decoration contest was an ENORMOUS success, thank you all for showing your appreciation towards our offices and staff. As of Christmas Eve the voting ended, and the results are in! Here are our top three:

First place: Logan with 158 votes
Second: Boise with 62 votes
and Third: Layton, with 61 votes

Our Treasure Valley doctors had a wonderful night at the Steel Heads hockey game, thanks to KTVB Channel 7! ❄😁

Earlier this week, Dr. Kofoed and the Boise Eye Pros had the wonderful opportunity to give comprehensive eye examinations to refugees thanks to The International Rescue Committee in Boise. Over twenty patients who had never had an eye exam before were able to receive one, as well as a pair of glasses (thanks to our friends at )! We'd like to express our gratitude for everyone involved who volunteered their time to make this possible ❤️🤲😁👓
