You needed help with getting medicine’s. Having your water handed to you for drinks. Holding your baby, so you could go to the bathroom. Getting your pillows adjusted. Finding your books. Trashes emptied. Diapers thrown away. Baby’s diaper and clothes changed. Laundry washed. Dishes done. House tidied. Postpartum meals. Care of your other children. A listening ear. Putting baby in lounger. Making sure you rested. Postpartum supplies on hand.

Ocular health in pregnancy

Changes include:
Eyelid color
Dryness- therefore contacts can be harder to wear.
Corneas become more curved and thicker.
Decrease in IOP pressure.
Preeclampsia effects ocular changes that are blurred vision, loss of vision and blindness.
Most of these go away in the postpartum period.
Retinopathy is arterioles, edema and hemorrhage.
APS can cause miscarriage.
DIC is known to cause amniotic fluid embolism, preeclamp­sia, fetal death, placental abruption, septic abortion, intrauterine infection, acute fatty liver, or placenta previa.
Sheehan Syndrome is postpartum hemorrhage.
IIH causes headaches and other issues in obese pregnant women.
Graves Disease is hyperthyroidism.
Pituitary Tumors increase with estrogen.
Diabetic retinopathy increases with hypertension.

Baby announcements using the 12 week rule come from a place of secrecy. It means that parents are starting to feel confident in this benchmark and point of the pregnancy. Reaching a sweet spot in pregnancy means the world to a mother to be. Let's celebrate anytime a couple makes a baby announcement. So that all babies are celebrated!

It's a roller coaster ride of emotions, feelings and physical pain. To take on this journey is not for the weak. It literally takes everything you have. From the injections, your money, time and your body. But this journey ended with a rainbow baby. To say it was worth it. Is saying it was the ultimate sacrifice. To tell the story of how becoming a mother can be different and not what you had planned. It meant sharing not only the heart, but making it into art.

An exciting time in your pregnancy is when you decide to find out the s*x of your baby. The midwife was asked and she gave the parent's an envelope. The parent’s decided to wait until the time was right to open it. They decided on making a special date for them to open it together. This date was a hike up Table Rock. So they could find out more about their baby. There was shock and elation. Most of all love for this little baby.

The parent's then planned how to tell their other children. They decided to let them know by planning a game. Once the game was done the balloon finished up the surprise. Now the whole family could share in the joy of welcoming this baby boy.
