It's raffle time! We have a wonderful raffle titled "Shopping & A Meal" 😋
This package includes a $30 gift card to Elite Jewelry & Fashion in Adairsville and a $35 gift card to Estela's Taqueria in Calhoun. Tickets are $2 a piece or 6 for $10. We will be selling tickets during the month of July. Come by each Sunday to buy tickets and play Bingo with us ☺️ proceeds will go to our Auxiliary to fund family support programs.

National Vietnam War Veterans Day is observed every year on March 29 in the United States. March 29th was selected in honor of the day the last troops left South Vietnam. Today marks 50 years since troops left!

The Sergeant First Class Heath Robinson Honoring our Promise to Address Comprehensive Toxics Act of 2022 (PACT Act), the most significant expansion of VA benefits in more than 30 years, was recently passed thanks to the tireless work of the VFW. The PACT Act empowers the VA to provide much-needed benefits and expanded eligibility for health care to generations of Veterans who were exposed to toxic fumes and other environmental hazards during their service, including many Vietnam War Veterans exposed to Agent Orange.

Good morning Friends and Family! We want to thank you and our community for such an outpouring of support for the families we adopted for Christmas. Our Sr Vice played a huge role in coordinating and being a liason for this special Christmas. Our Auxiliary President was able to deliver one set of gifts to the Family Resource Center of Gordon County. Also to set up the second set of gifts under the Christmas tree for the next family. We collected funds to help with utility bills for a 3rd family. Lastly we were able to put together 2 food baskets to help get these families through the holidays.
All of this was made possible through, the loving and caring, friends both within our organization, and within our local community. We are honored and truly grateful for this opportunity.

Thank you to all who participated in our toy drive raffle this year! Over 5 boxes of toys were gathered for children of all ages. The Post Commander delivered the toys to the Family Resource Center of Gordon County this morning. The toys will be used to finish out Christmas gift needs, with remaining toys being used for birthday gifts in the future.

Again, huge thank you to our family for leading the charge! Between the cans and toys, you all have impacted so many this holiday season.

So we had an amazing day at Food City hosting our 1st drive this year. We raised several hundred dollars. The money raised today will go to help veteran needs, locally within Gordon county. We are so thankful for our wonderful community, and their continued support of our Veterans!
These amazing ladies and a few of their children had the best time talking to everyone and educating some about our organization and about the Buddy Poppy!
