we want to highlight our friends at Wolves Den Barbell Club this !

They held a donation drive for our deployed Rough Riders and were able to send boxes of much needed items overseas. Protein, supplements, healthy snacks, fun snacks, lots of rice, coffee, and some Den swag brightened their day!

The Post is extremely thankful for the outpouring of support from the community as we continue to support these soldiers and their families through their nearly year long mobilization 🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲

Deployed participants, your cutoff to guarantee a shirt is coming up! August 18th is the last day to sign up to have your shirt mailed to you.

Everyone else, keep signing up until September 8th!This year will be done simultaneously with the deployed Soliders with the 1-108th Cavalry, along with the various nations they're deployed with. Don't miss this unique experience! The run will be live streamed from their deployed location to our start line here in Calhoun 🇺🇲

August 7th is known as National Purple Heart day. In honor of the day, our Senior Vice Commander Sean Hudson and other members of the Post attended Gordon County's unveiling of its new Purple Heart Monument located at the Gordon County Courthouse. We were honored to attend this beautiful ceremony and gesture to honor our Purple Heart Recipients 🙏🏼🇺🇸

Calhoun, one of our members experienced a tragedy last night and could use some help. He is currently deployed with the 1-108th Cavalry and is unable to return home at the moment. This year we are excited to work with our local deployed unit to run, walk, or ruck both here and in Kosovo at the same time! All funds raised, as always, help us support our local community, our hometown heroes, and their families. Let's make this FIFTH YEAR a huge success. Senior Vice Commander Hudson laid flowers at the memorial of PVT Renis Barrett, our Post's namesake.

Every year, our Post ensures the memory and legacy of PVT Barrett lives on through visits and maintenance of this piece of history.

PVT Barrett's headstone is located here in Calhoun at the Fain Cemetery.
