In memory of CEA’s 1st VP, Larry Blake II, CEA Cares has created a scholarship award for two high school seniors that have excelled in their History courses. Mr. Blake taught in the Camden City School District for 23 years. He taught at various schools which included Cramer Elementary, Sharp, Davis and Veterans Memorial Family Schools. He was a proud member of various unions which included Camden Education Association, Camden County Council of EA, New Jersey EA and the National EA. He served proudly over the years in many positions within CEA such as 2nd VP, Membership Chairperson, 1st VP, Grievance Chairperson and the Negotiations Chairperson. He also proudly served as a member of the following committees: Budget, Executive, Elections, Members Of Color, Personnel, Paul Dimitriadis, Social, Sick Leave and the Pride Committee.
