Attention incoming 8th grade parents:

CPS has been awarded the Teach STEM Classes in Nonpublic School Grant for the 2024-2025 school year!

This grant allows us to offer an Algebra I aftershool course to eligible eighth grade students. The goal is to provide the students with comprehensive Algebra I instruction that may enable them to either test into Algebra I Honors in high school or test out of Algebra I completely. The program can help give our students a strong foundation for their future academic endeavors!

Our 5 day HSPT Summer Prep Course has officially come to an end. We are so proud of our scholars for working hard on their quantitative and verbal skills as they gear up for their 8th grade year and high school. Special thank you to our wonderful instructor Ms. Nunuez and the The Joseph Fund of Camden for helping make this course possible!

📚Our our alumni are truly grateful for the continued support they receive from their CPS family and friends! Congratulations to Solae from Sacred Heart School - Camden who will be attending Rowan University this fall and Winnie from Saint Cecilia School Pennsauken NJ who will be attending Drexel University!

Our amazing St. Joseph Pro-Cathedral School, a Catholic Partnership School alumni have also come by to collect some items for school! Uche who attends Rowan University and Chinonso who attends Rutgers along side Rutgers graduate Chidi and Camden Catholic student Chinwe! It’s a family affair at CPS!

The High School Placement Test (HSPT) is an exam taken by 8th-grade students seeking admission to Catholic high schools.

During this course, students will learn the skills and strategies necessary to do their best on the exam!
