Our Disaster Response Assessors are learning our new digital assessment process at our DR warehouse in Greensboro.
We have a DR volunteer serving for 10 days in Brazil due to flooding. We have another team of 6 traveling next week to serve for 10 days. Thanks for praying for our NC Disaster Response volunteers.
Last week we had multiple teams of students from Connecticut, Tennessee, Virginia, Florida working in Fair Bluff. Thank you for spending a week serving in this hard hit area of our state. Thank you for offering hope to families who've almost given up.

Volunteers will be working in Fair Bluff till September 1st doing repairs to homes damaged by Hurricane Florence back in 2018. It's a small community, close to the SC border that's been all but forgotten. If you can bring a team for a day or a week we'd love to have you join us.

We're grateful for all the hard work this group from Berry Chapel Baptist Church in Spruce Pine did with our project in Fair Bluff. High temperatures didn't stop this team from building several wheelchair ramps. We have multiple opportunities to serve in Fair Bluff through the end of August. KY Disaster Response Update - Volunteers from NC have finished 15 jobs but we still have 200 to be completed. Leo Trepte and a group of volunteers from the Brazilian community in Raleigh spent yesterday afternoon helping us load a truck with supplies for victims of flooding in Southern Brazil. We're grateful to Bradley Frey who drove through the night arriving in Miami this morning so everything could be loaded on a ship headed to Brazil this afternoon. Thanks to everyone who pulled together to make this happen.

Disaster units and volunteers are on the way to Trinity, TX in response to recent flooding. Recovery teams as well as other personnel will be needed for the next 2 months. Please be in prayer for those already in place and those who are currently traveling.

NC Baptist Disaster Response volunteers are assisting 150 people in Henderson, NC after their housing was condemned. In conjunction with social services and emergency management, we’re providing hot showers, laundry and meals through tomorrow.

WELCOME HOME BUTLERS - After living in a home damaged by Hurricane Florence in 2018, the Butlers are finally free from mold, mildew, buckled floors and wondering what was going to happen next. We're grateful to the 100's of volunteer hours working through the Lumberton Rebuild Center and assistance from the Office of State Budget and Management to make this day possible.

Almost 6 years after Hurricane Florence destroyed washed across eastern North Carolina, the Boney's are moving back home. Thanks to the hundreds of hours of volunteer work and financial assistance from the NC Office of State Budget and Management, the latest home rebuild project for Baptists on Mission was dedicated this week.
