These are dangerous time, as we see a turning from the Word of God, to self and the opinions of man. If the Word of God is not proclaimed how will man hear?

We see the importance of prayer, V7, But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer. Someone said, “we see the weight of eternity rushing towards us,”… The world rushes on not knowing what is coming. As we see the names of our shut -ins, and our missionaries on the screen every service, and as we rub shoulders with so many,say a prayer for them.

In your study of the Bible, remember God does not contradict Himself. When He establishes a truth by His Word, it is established forever, John 14:6, Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. By that one statement Jesus shut the door on all other ways. He did not come to show us the way…He is the “Way”…He does not say, come to an ordinance but… Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

1 Peter 3: 8-12

“Finally” introduces a new section: a different type of persecution from Chapters 1&2. The different persecution is overcoming injustice. Peter was warning of this coming and we see it all around us now.

What is the soul and Submitting
The Life that God give us, at the point of being born again is like the Living Water in John 4: 14, But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life. And that water that He gives becomes the source of Eternal Life, like a seed sown in the heart, 1 Peter 1:23. James 1:18, Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures. James 1:21, Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls. [engrafted word is implanted ]

Jesus preached Jesus on the road to Emmaus, and Jesus preached Jesus to Nicodemus and to us, to be sure we understood the Way. Jesus is not telling us the Way…He is telling us He is the Way. The term “The Way” was initially used to refer to the early Christian movement, specifically the followers of Jesus Christ, who were devoted to living out His teachings and spreading the Gospel message.

“Living by Faith”
The trials of life are to strengthen our faith, and purify our faith, that we would stand approved at the Bema Seat of Christ. The Bible does say, the just shall live by faith.

Jesus is the Shepherd and Bishop of our soul: He could have said our body, or any number of things… but He said soul. Our life is very important to Him. Should we live our life unto Him? Should our life be important to us? Yes,

On Memorial Day, we honored the fallen. Those who paid the ultimate price. All branches of our military serve as a reminder of the price for freedom, freedom is not free. And today we pay tribute to all who fought and died that we could be free, and May God bless every family.. The Israelites were slaves in bo***ge to Egypt… And freedom from that bo***ge came at the expense of Egypt’s firstborn, and freedom from sin that enslaves all humans came at the expense of Jesus, the Son of God, who paid the debt of sin for all the world.,

The lie of satan, and promoted through false teachers, is that sin is permanent and leaves us without hope . But the wool contrasted here is the cleansed, washed wool, which is bases for “Come not and let us reason together….”

All who enter the kingdom are saved, but there will be children born in the kingdom, Isa 65:20 There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not filled his days: for the child shall die an hundred years old; but the sinner being an hundred years old shall be accursed. All who die in the Millennial are unbelievers.

There is no denying that people fall from grace, Gal 5:4 Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace. Christ is become of no effect unto you, because you have programed Him out of your life, and replaced Him with tradition, false teaching which you have heard believed, putting your unbelief over His word.

Jesus is God in incarnate: fully God and fully Man. All the fulness of the Godhead is in Him. He was made like unto us. He taste death for every person, suffering the judgement of God on sin for all. For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. And it pleases the Father..
John 12:27, Now is my soul troubled; and what shall I say? Father, save me from this hour: but for this cause came I unto this hour. And to understand this verse, you must understand that Jesus is fully God and fully Man, the Son of Man. In a short time He was to die on the Cross and He was troubled, and shall I say, Father, save me from this hour.. No, He said, Father thy will be done….. but for this cause came I unto this hour.

As a Believer or an Unbeliever? In fellowship with Christ or out of fellowship? In fear or in the peace of God? As one who is growing in the Faith or one who is dull in hearing?
In obedience to the Word or in obedience to our own ways? The tragedy about having your own way over the teaching of scripture is this: you bring others down with you

Read His Word, Believe His Word, Obey His Word captures the direction of our life in this church age. John 16:33 "These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

The New Testament shows a special power connected with His resurrection, Revelation, 1:18, I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.

Revelation 3:12 is a powerful verse, to the one born from above, to be an overcomer. It is difficult for us now {in time] to fully grasp the significance of the incarnation.
Because God is clothed in human flesh, we have all we need in Christ. “For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.”

The LORD's Supper reminds us of our Redemption... of our Saviour's death on the Cross. "..... Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me. Who His own self bare our sins in His own body. In the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me. Can you imagine the agony of someone left behind at the Rapture? Do we care enough to even allow our minds, to think about the plight of lost humanity, at death or the Rapture?
Yes, there is the Rapture and it is a Pre-Tribulation Rapture, Revelation 3:10 -11

There is something happening today.... People are seeing through the fog of useless religion, looking for something that is real.

It a celebration of Israel Redemption from Egypt. But it is even more than that. V 5:7 and V8 is speaking to us in this church age! Leaven speaks of sin. What He is telling us that Christ by His death on the Cross put away our sin

With every passing day, we see the invisible government of the dragon, satan, being manifested, in a tangible way. The signing of the peace treaty, satan’s lie to provide security and peace for Israel, and starts the Tribulation, and his lie is seen at the mid-point of the Tribulation. Just as Thanksgiving comes before Christmas, so the Rapture comes before the signing of the peace treaty.
