This Sunday's Sermon: "The Baby Carriage & Other Gear... or not" with Rev. Mandy Goheen
Why do people become parents? You would think a person with 6 children would know the answer to that question. There seems to be so many reasons handy why not to be parents in the current state of decline in our times. Historically, there is an uptick in family growth in times such as these that is primal and active. But what is stopping thinking people from evolving out of that? The short answer is babies and how cool their stuff is. Something about being beholden to the needs of a child and the open invitation into play?

On this May Day, let us honor this seasonal moment in the Northern Hemisphere - the midway point between the spring equinox and summer solstice - while also uplifting the creativity, necessity, and dignity of all forms of work and our solidarity with workers across the globe.
