You know that life can get busy! How do you deal with all the pressures of life, and still come out with a good attitude? Hopefully, today’s verses will encourage you that Jesus is the answer.
In these verses, we see that no matter how busy life gets we can find rest in Jesus. This means that even in the middle of all the stress of life, going to Jesus will help you find rest, peace and comfort. Yes, life can be tough and exhausting. In Jesus, you can find strength and renewal.
Jesus offers a rest that supersedes anything the world has to offer. This rest is filled with His love and peace. His rest gives encouragement and guidance. Spend time in His presence every day reading the word, praying for your needs as well as for others, and listening to God’s guidance. Our spirits will be lifted by God’s presence!
Dear God, help us rest in Jesus and help us to let go of our burdens by giving them to you. God, we ask you to give us the ability to trust you with our lives. Thank you for the hope that you give us in all circumstances. Amen.
All smiles because it’s Wednesday 🎉! Will we see you for dinner or classes tonight?
The Boomers & Shakers Fall Party was cozy and warm with chili, fellowship, and fun!
"For to see your face is like seeing the face of God." Who said that?
It was said by a man who had lied and cheated his brother many years earlier. His brother had threatened to kill him because of it. After much time had passed, he was now meeting that brother. The night before they met, he had a wrestling match with God and got his name changed. This quote came from Jacob.
Jacob, who had his name changed to Israel. In this meeting with his brother Esau, he was experiencing forgiveness, and in that grace, he saw the face of God. Be reminded today that when you show grace to others, you help them know and experience God.

Have you ever heard a familiar saying and aren't sure if it's from the Bible or some memorable statement from a movie or book? Pastor Nathan's message will remind us who made some memorable statements in the Bible, though we often don’t remember who said them. Whether you remember who said it or not, keep in mind the lessons to be learned from what they said.
Through Jesus Christ, you have a future, not only for this life, but for eternity after this life. Jesus assures you that you have a place, now and in the future, forever.
As followers of Jesus Christ, we are created to do good in the world, to fight the battle of good against evil; that battle that goes on inside ourselves as well as out in the world. As a follower of Jesus, the best good work you can do is to guide another person to become a disciple of Jesus. Build a relationship with them, set a good example for them teach them his way.
God created you in the beginning, but also seeks to continue to create you new through Jesus Christ. And as that happens, you continually become a masterpiece of the great Artist of heaven.
