For this unique event, Chicago Athletic Association's Executive Chef Kaleena Bliss and her culinary team will serve up a variety of appetizers both from and inspired by Chef Lee's book, utilizing, of course, bourbon as the star ingredient.

The Chicago Athletic Association, once exclusive to men until 1972, admitted merely 10 out of 200 female applicants. Their resilience not only sustained the club but transformed it into an inclusive haven. Over time, female membership flourished, culminating in the appointment of the first female club president in the 1990s. Let’s continue pursuing progress, nurturing empowerment, and breaking down barriers.

We utilize our building’s original Board of Directors plaque to feature twelve frames highlighting timely and pertinent themes. This month, in honor of International Women’s Day, we proudly highlight some of the women on our team so guests can learn more about them by scanning a QR code.
