TONIGHT at 6:00 p.m.: Join us via Zoom for a conversation with filmmaker, novelist, and critic Samuel R. Delany. Free and open to the public. ⁠Event information available at saic.edu/events/samuel-r-delany-lecture.

Delany has won Nebula Awards from the Science Fiction & Fantasy Writers Association and two Hugo Awards from the World Science Fiction Convention. In 2013, he was made a Grand Master of Science Fiction. In 2016, he was inducted into the New York State Writers Hall of Fame.

Presented on the occasion of the exhibition In Your Face: Barbara DeGenevieve, Artist and Educator on view at SAIC Galleries August 27–December 7. A related symposium will take place on September 14.
