LCHC is excited to announce that we are updating our systems with the latest technology to enhance patient care. Starting July 30th, 2024, we will be transitioning our Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems to Epic. This change will bring numerous benefits, including a new patient portal that provides easier access to your medical records and visit notes.

During July and August, we will have reduced appointment availability as our staff undergoes thorough training to ensure a smooth transition. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this time and anticipate returning to our regular appointment schedule in September.

Governor Pritzker held a press conference in the Skyline Conference Room to celebrate a successful year of Medicaid Redeterminations since the end of the Public Health Emergency. He congratulated the Illinois Department of Human Services on their efforts to educate the public and ensure as many people as possible maintained coverage. Dr. James Brooks, LCHC's CEO, highlighted our unique and important partnership with DHS and how we as a health center have assisted our community with the redetermination process.
