We, the 302d Maneuver Enhancement Brigade, are proud to celebrate the incredible achievements and contributions of women around the world. Today, we honor the trailblazers, the change-makers, and the fearless leaders who inspire us all. Together, we can create a brighter future for women everywhere.

A job well done to the 302d MEB Warfighter 24-2 participants who traveled all the way to Camp Humphreys in the Republic of Korea this Fall. This team worked long hours to support the 2nd Infantry Division in their bi-annual training exercise and made it home just in time for Thanksgiving and well-earned recovery!

The invasion of northern France in 1944 was the most significant victory of the Western Allies in the Second World War. American, British and Canadian forces established a foothold on the shores of Normandy, and, after a protracted and costly campaign to reinforce their gains, broke out into the French interior and began a headlong advance. The German Army suffered a catastrophe greater than that of Stalingrad, the defeat in North Africa or even the massive Soviet summer offensive of 1944 🚢

April is the 👧🏻👶🏽🧒🏼👦🏾 There are over 1.6 million military children who face unique challenges as their parents serve. During this month the 302d MEB applauds their resilience, their daily sacrifice and the many challenges they’ve overcome 💪🇺🇸

SOLDIER HIGHLIGHT:

SPC Antonio Henry, from the 479th Engineer Battalion was chosen to attend Airmen Leadership School (ALS) as part of an initiative by MSgt Jeremy Hill, Kish ALS School Commandant, to help facilitate the interoperability and professional exchange of ideas and leadership perspectives between the different services. The schoolhouse sets aside a small percentage of slots for outside candidates, making the opportunity rare and prestigious. Potential applicants are typically among the best of their peer groups; they are above average physically and intellectually and have a proven record of outstanding duty performance

302nd MEB Soldiers went the field this weekend to set up TOC operations. It was a cold one out there! Thanks to HHC for coordinating hot dinner and breakfast chow!!!

412th Theater Engineer Command

Congratulations to the 479th EN BN Squad, “Tomahawks,” winners of the 302nd MEB Best Squad Competition!
They competed 13-16 March against 3 other teams at Fort Devens, MA. Squads were tested on their tactical skills and Army knowledge. The competition included tactical lanes, ACFT, map reading skills, a written test, a 4-mile ruck march, and a board. Four teams competed: 479th EN BN Squad, “Tomahawks,” 365th EN BN Squad, “Rugged,” 368th EB BN Squad, “Faisons,” and HHC 302nd Squad, “Patriots.”
Murphy’s law played a role, as the first nor’easter storm of the season closed the post down. As a result, the organizers had to completely overhaul the tactical lanes. Originally planned to take place along a 12-mile course on South Post, the organizers instead situated the lanes indoors. The squads had to clear the building to find their challenges. The lanes included CBRN casualty care, IED response, detainee operations, and a tactical casualty lane that began outside the building and drew the competitors to the building.
