It’s a culture.
“Yo - what’s the best bodyfat percentage to be at before you start lean bulking?”
This is a great question, and if the goal is to be able to look shredded within 8-12 weeks AFTER your bulk, it’s important that you start the process fairly lean. I’m around 12-14% bodyfat right here, which is a good starting point for a lean bulk. Since some fat gain is evident on a bulk, if you start bulking for 20 weeks at say 20% bodyfat you will have way too much fat to lose at the end of your bulk
I actually recommend a “mini cut”
To prime your body for a bulk. Even 30 days of fat loss and dropping 5 lbs can make a huge difference to your overall physique when you go back to bulking. Just my 2 cents!
