We’ll walk you through utilizing the award profile on the Fulbright website to frame your responses and using our essay worksheets as tools to build your first drafts.

Congratulations to our director Robyn Curtis, who has received the Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs' Outstanding Staff Award! 🧡💜 This award celebrates Robyn's expert knowledge of the field and exemplary contributions to the division of Academic Affairs and Clemson University. She was nominated by her supervisor and students. At the award ceremony last month, Provost Jones saluted Robyn's dedication to her students and how her work has elevated Clemson's national profile. Congratulations, Robyn!
Meet Celia Crifasi, our new co-Assistant Director of the Office of Major Fellowships! Celia is a newcomer to the Clemson area (but not the south!), moving from Baton Rouge, Louisiana where she was born and raised. She has most recently served as an Academic Counselor in the Ogden Honors College at LSU where she was the director of the honors thesis program. Celia also just completed her Ph.D. in History at the University of Wisconsin-Madison where she taught students across many different majors how to strengthen their research and writing skills. She is looking forward to working with Clemson's fellowship students to help them pursue their passions and further their academic development!

Congratulations to Kaleigh Neely, a Fulbright alternate for a Master of Science in Public Health award in Ireland! This is one of the most competitive awards in the Fulbright competition. Kaleigh graduated from Clemson in 2019 with a degree in bioengineering, and she plans to transition from her current work in clinical care to influencing policies related to prosthetic care in the U.S. and abroad. Congratulations, Kaleigh!
Happy , tigers! Today we are celebrating Hayley Levin, an alternate for a Fulbright MA Degree award in Israel. She graduated in 2023 with a degree in Political Science and plans to take the Foreign Service Exam to become a political officer for the U.S. Department of State. We are so proud of you, Hayley!

Today's Senior Spotlight is for Joshua Tucker, who will graduate with a degree in Microbiology. While at Clemson, Joshua completed departmental honors research. He plans to attend Mayo Clinic Alix School of Medicine for medical school and become a practicing physician and contribute to clinical research. Congratulations, Joshua!
Today, we are highlighting Calvin Paulsen, who is graduating with a degree in Bioengineering. In recognition of his leadership and academic achievements, he has received the Poly-Med Outstanding Bioengineering Senior Award and the Harry T. and Susan A Hall Scholarship for excellence in Bioengineering. After graduation, Calvin will be a researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Molecular Biomedicine in Germany. Congratulations, Calvin!
Today, we are celebrating Erin Jones! She graduates with a degree in Genetics. In recognition of her leadership and academic achievements, she was an Outstanding Senior in Science and a Dr. William Marcotte Award for Research Excellence recipient. Erin will be attending the Medical University of South Carolina as an MSTP student, where she will be obtaining her MD-PhD. Congratulations, Erin!
Today, we are highlighting Raleigh Adams, who is graduating with degrees in Political Science and Philosophy. In recognition of her leadership and academic achievements, she has received Departmental Honors for Political Science, recognition from Phi Beta Kappa, and she is a Ropke-Wojtyla Fellow (Catholic University of America). After graduation, Raleigh will be attending Yale University for a Master of Arts in Religion with a concentration in Ethics. Congratulations, Raleigh!

Today's Senior Spotlight is for Gavin Hunt, who will be graduating with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. While at Clemson, Gavin participated in the Dixon Global Policy and Duckenfield Scholars programs. This fall, he will start his PhD in Aerospace Engineering at Virginia Tech focusing on hypersonic flows. Congratulations, Gavin!

Helena Harte was awarded the Norris Medal, given each year to a graduating student who, on the basis of exceptional scholastic achievement and leadership ability, is judged by the University Scholarships and Awards Committee to be the best all-around student.
Leah Terry and Christian Blackburn each won the Algernon Sydney Sullivan Student Award, which is presented to two students from the graduating class for outstanding service to Clemson University and the extended Clemson community.
Today, we are highlighting Grayson Cliff, who is graduating with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Next year, Grayson will be pursuing a PhD in Mechanical Engineering at UT Austin. Congratulations, Grayson!
Today, we are celebrating Shreya Tellur! She graduated in December 2023 with a degree in Psychology, having received General and Departmental Honors. In recognition of her leadership and academic achievements, she was a Davenport Psychology Scholar and a Thomas F. Chapman Leadership Scholar. Since January, Shreya has been working as a research assistant with the UNC School of Medicine in the Infectious Disease department and plans to apply to medical school. Next year she will be in Scotland, studying to earn a MSc in Health Psychology at the University of Stirling. Congratulations, Shreya!
Today's Senior Spotlight is for Sophia Fowler, who will be graduating with a degree in Elementary Education. This fall, Sophia will move to Northern Virginia to teach 2nd grade in Prince William County, and she is excited to start her own classroom. Congratulations, Sophia!
Today, we are recognizing Christian Blackburn, who is graduating with a degree in Wildlife and Fisheries Biology. In recognition of his leadership and academic achievements, he has received Clemson University Algernon Sullivan Student Service Award, College of Agriculture Outstanding Senior Award and Outstanding Ambassador Award, as well as Outstanding Senior in Wildlife & Fisheries Biology. After graduation, Christian will be teaching English at a technical and engineering high school in Liberec, Czech Republic. Congratulations, Christian!

Today, we are highlighting Giovanni Orlandi, who is graduating with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. In recognition of his leadership and academic achievements, he has received the Jansen Family Scholarship, the Carl Donner Jr. Outstanding Junior Award for ME, and the Sam Earle Outstanding Senior Award in engineering in CECAS. After graduation, Giovanni will be pursuing an MPhil at Cambridge and a PhD at Northwestern. Congratulations, Giovanni!
