Join us for the final film in this year's series Envisioning Environmental Change in German-Language Cinema, Zu weit weg/Too Far Away (Sarah Winkenstette, FRG, 2019). We will be holding our annual departmental end-of-semester celebration beginning at 6:30pm with food and drinks on the Language House patio, where we will also recognize awardees and induct new members to the German Honorary Society Delta Phi Alpha. The film screening will begin around 7:15pm.

Itโs rare for the Berlinale to be so female-dominated The Berlinale Bears have been awarded โ six out of eight prizes went to female filmmakers. Itโs yet another example of how the festival is leading the way this year.
