Whoa! What a week.. Friday night, we had The Naz Church cook out meal on the grills! 350 meals were served! We LOVE our church! 💙🙏🏻

We’ve for 2 weeks have been getting a “facelift”! It started with our brand new floor in the big room. It’s beautiful!!! Larry and Sue Jones we will forever grateful!

Lowe’s came in with 30 volunteers and did landscaping, painting, upgrading of ceiling tiles and many of them wanted to serve our friends! It was very heartwarming. These folks came from all over the state of Ohio for the day. They definitely left a mark on us and we will never forget them!

Yesterday was amazing! 440 meals served! Thanks to The Church Next Door, homemade lasagna hit the spot for our friends! 🙏🏻💙

The back to school giveaway was a blast! So many happy kids SO excited to pick out the book bag they wanted and fill with supplies! I can’t thank our partners enough! Columbus Division of Police y’all are so good to us! Sweet Tooth Ice Cream Trucks you guys are SO incredibly generous.. time after time🩷 the blue star moms group.. seeing these kids write letters to the soldiers was beautiful! Our arts and crafts lady carol to make things with our children was so fun and Remember Me Gifts - taking pics for the first day of school with their new book bags! 😭 so precious!! ALL the volunteers!!! You all made the night! Couldn’t have pulled it off with out you! 🥳

Come see us FRIDAY (August 16th) night! We are doing our annual back 2 school bookbag giveaway! We will be at the Glenwood United Methodist Church right across the street from Jordan’s Crossing @ 5:30 pm! We are so lucky to be able to team up with officers from The Columbus Division of Police and get to get these kiddos off to a great start to a fresh school year! Happy (rainy) Monday! We hope you had a great weekend… we kicked off our weekend with The Naz Church cooking our meal! They brought the grills and it was a home run! Thanks to Pastor Carlos for bringing his team! It was a huge hit! Thanks to Spring Road Church of Christ for always making sure we have delicious brownies for dessert, our friends were asking if we had leftovers Saturday morning… they sure love the brownies! 🫶🏼

14 years ago today Jordan went to heaven 💔This day is a difficult one. We miss him so much!

You do it so gracefully 🥰

Happy Sunday friends! What a difference today is from the week with all the HEAT 🥵
We had a blast with our The Church Next Door volunteers serving dinner! They always come and bring lots of help and yummy food! We are blessed to be in the presence of these wonderful people! Our misting station came in handy this week! Lots of friends cooking off!!

If you want to get involved now is the perfect time.. we’d love help with our daily lunches! What does that look like… you showing up @10:15 am with as much food as you are able to cook (we prepare for 150-we can share dates with someone else to get to the number of meals we need).. you are welcome to grab meat and whatever else you’d like from here to make! It’s just the main course, we take care of the side dishes.. summer months lots of vacations (less volunteering and cooking) and kids are out of school so we definitely see an up tick in our lunch numbers! Any help we are incredibly grateful for! 💜

Good morning friends! With the heat this week we are not wanting to encourage anyone to be outside so therefore, we will be canceling the free store today we will see you next Wednesday for that. We will be open today until 4 o’clock as a cooling/misting station, so feel free to come in and cool off. We will be serving lunch at 1130 and have Lower Lights Christian Health Center here with us till 1pm for your health needs! 💜

Happppyy Tuesday! We have groceries today at 12 noon! We also get the joy of having NFM Lending Ohio coming to volunteer 🙏🏻

Last Friday we spent our lunch with Bob Knick cooking on the grill… and the evening with our friends from Leave A Mark Church! What a great bunch of people!

Today: amazing! We are so fortunate to be a part of the community immersion program ran by Columbus Division of Police and Columbus City Attorney Zach Klein’s office! The service these men and women provide for our city is so important! Glad to introduce them to our friends!

Free store Wednesday was super busy! Lots of items given away.. lots of meals served. Sent someone to treatment 🎉 this was a great day!

Don’t forget tomorrow we have our grocery bags at 12 noon! See you then!

Last night we had the privilege to serve with Global Methodist On Main,Scioto Chapel & Amazing Grace Christian Church! They sent 485 meals out into the community! What an amazing night! We GET to do this! 🎉

We have had a great week! Huge Wednesday free store, 15,000 pounds of groceries also went out! We are so blessed by your support! 🥰

Happy MOTHERS day weekend to all the moms… at Jordan’s Crossing we are blessed to have the fill-in momma Donna for LOTS of our friends! Just this week one of our girls was SO excited to be leaving the streets and going off to treatment and was just so thankful to Donna.. all I could think is Jordan is cheering on this beautiful girl and she had no idea why we are on Hague ave daily fighting this battle along side of them! We are thankful for all the moms we have that come to be with us weekly! Lots of LOVE to you all!

Tuesday if you had lunch with us you ate Collin’s favorite meal. Collin’s family has cooked out lunch on his birthday for the last 3 years! As we celebrate his birthday with him in heaven we are so proud of his family. We know him and Jordan are up there seeing the difference that is being made! We sure love them! 💙

Amazing Grace Christian Church Grove City, OH, Scioto Chapel and Global Methodist On Main they came and brought the most delicious ham dinner! We are so grateful they have chose to walk with us and serve! Excited to see the relationships grow and see them show people Jesus! We hope you all had a wonderful Easter with your families! ✝️

Hiiii 👋 friends! I’m coming to you with a pretty big request: Friday night dinner (2/2/24) for this Friday! We need about 20 pans of lasagna brought to us (warm) for our meal! We already have the salad, and the Temple Israel is making their famous challah bread!

We would also like dessert! Can be something in individual packages, or ziplock bagged already would be fabulous!

If you could please comment how many pans you can make and then we would like them at 5 pm @ 342 N Hague Ave Columbus Ohio 43204. Thank you for helping us feed our community ❤️

Ps. If you would rather make a pasta dish (spaghetti or similar) that would also be completely fine.

Hi Friends 👋 we have had such a busy week! Every year U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development conducts what’s called a Point in time count this is where The Community Shelter Board in Columbus counts all of the un-housed people in the city. Jordan’s Crossing has been a location for years to come and give your information to the volunteers that do the counting. It was incredible to see all the friends that came out to be counted and get resources! We were also blessed to be able to show our representatives here locally and nationally what happens daily at Jordan’s Crossing. 💙

Last night The Naz Church came and brought ham, beans and cornbread they served 375 meals! The Spring Road Church of Christ brought desserts.. we SOO love the churches that partner with us to make this whole community feel welcome and that they matter!

Please continue to pray for our friends living on the land. We have seen so many cases of frost bite this week with the cold temps we have had! We are doing our very best to make sure they have everything they need to stay warm! If you want to send in items (gloves, hats, thick socks, boots, cook tops) we would be so grateful!
