The Columbus Chapter of the Association for India’s Development cordially invites you to an evening with Dr. Kalpana Karunakaran. Join us on Friday, April 12th, at the Creative Arts Room in the basement of the Ohio Union!

Dr. Kalpana Karunakaran, an Associate Professor at IIT Madras, specializes in gender and development, particularly Women’s Studies. Her research and works lie in the fields of gender, development, labour and social movements. Her books include “Women, Microfinance, and the State in Neo-liberal India” and a memoir, “Comrade Amma: Magal Parvaiyil Mythily Sivaraman”.
