Dance comp #4! SHOWSTOPPERS, Anna Grace’s favorite of the year. Elizabeth was home to see her dance last night. We had a late night last night and had to be back this morning so we splurged and stayed in a hotel downtown on the 16th floor. Anna Grace had 1 dance last night and 3 today. I went for a run downtown today, got a little lost and my 4-5 mile run turned into 7 😂. We had a fun weekend with our dance fam!

Love Tuesdays with my grandbabies 💕 Beautiful afternoon down in hocking county, we had to stop for blue 🍦 in circleville, Octavia gets upset when we don’t play “One More Time” all the way home (1 hour drive) and opal’s little cry is so cute, she’s a happy baby except when you try to sit while holding her 😂😂.

Finished the evening off with watching Nathanael’s lacrosse game. a win for Grove City LAX! Great job team!

3 years ago today I coached my 1st class …over 2500 classes later and I still love it! I feel so blessed to be part of the Otf family. I absolutely love my job 🧡🧡

Donny and I celebrated our anniversary last night at The Guild House (our actual anniversary was on St Patrick’s day). The food and atmosphere was amazing! Our life together is an adventure, wouldn’t want to do it with anyone else. To many more years ❤️

☘️☘️ St Patrick’s day fun, and Donny Thompson and my anniversary ❤️ we spent the day at Anna Grace’s dance 💃🏼 comp. 6+ hours, 4 dances. She did amazing!! Her teams got top overalls and platinums. I didn’t get any costume pics due to quick changes, 4 dances in less then 1.5 hours 😳 Oh and we had a little building evacuation due to some overheating power or something.

Saint Patrick’s day Eve fun! Orangetheory 🧡 workouts, lunch with high schools friends ❤️, 4 mile race, finished 🥉 in my age group and fun with my cousins and siblings! What will tomorrow bring?!? ☘️☘️

I ❤️ Tuesdays! Tuesdays is Octavia/grandma day. When I get done working I drive an hour to see my beautiful granddaughters Octavia and Opal and then bring Octavia home with me for an overnight we go to dance class. Tonight we also went to uncle Nathanael’s box lacrosse game. We’ve been all over the place today. And now cuddling watching a movie before bedtime. I just love my Octavia time and being a grandma is the best 💕

Never a dull moment….and not how and of us planned to spend a Monday afternoon…another broken leg for Sam Paur. He meets with ortho to see if surgery will be needed…to add to his collection of hardware already in that leg

We are so in love ❤️❤️ our new granddaughter, Opal. Blessed is an understatement 🥰❤️❤️. Octavia is loving her baby sister and her new role as big sister being a grandparent is the best!!

Happy happy 23rd birthday Elizabeth. I hate that you are a world away but know that I love you and am proud of you! Can’t wait to see you and hug you next year. Hope you had a terrific birthday!

On November 18th, 2008, at 11:59pm Anna Grace made her debut…I blinked and my baby girl turned 15 😳 Happy birthday AG 🥳 🎂 🎉 love you to the 🌙 and back ❤️

(it’s Monday in Fiji) 🥈🥇

Travelled to San Luis Obispo, CA for the trifecta weekend and from there went straight to Nadi, Fiji, for the trifecta weekend plus trail race. Over the course of 8 days I 🏃🏻‍♀️ 2 (21k + 30ish obstacles), 2 (10k + 28ish obstacles), 2 (5k + 25ish obstacles) and a 10k trail race. The views at both venues were 🤩…more to come later about each venue, although neither of the beasts went great I did manage a 🥈 finish in the Fiji beast, 🥈in the 10k trail race, 🥈 in the slo super, 🥇 in Fiji super, 🥈 in Fiji sprint (slo sprint was a fun run)

So blessed to be able to travel and race, thank for my hubby 😍. It was amazing to meet people from all over the world. Athletes from 25 countries ran in Fiji. I earned by x5 trifecta in Fiji. Up next Central Florida Spartan Trifecta weekend to close out 2023.

Saturday the water took my breath away…as you can see from the pic (black 4-0 tank) 😂, Sunday the air was colder 50 degrees and cloudy but the water felt warmer and looked like chocolate milk 😂😂. And I decided to keep my hair down for Sundays race…..BIG mistake.. I’ve washed my hair several times and I still think I’ve got mud in it 😳 😂. Felt great to be out in the mud again!

🇺🇸 I did my own 9/11 tribute WOD

9.11 miles 🏃🏻‍♀️ with weighted vest and 11 burpees every mile for a total of 99 burpees (some pull up burpees on my rig)

Yes I was the crazy person with the vest on and doing burpees along side of Hoover, Borror, in front of buckeye woods, in front of the hospital, when ever my watch buzzed at a mile marker I dropped wherever I was to do the 11 burpees. I had to pause at mile 7 to pick up Anna Grace from school but left my vest on and started right back up when we got back home.

Not gonna lie. It wasn’t easy and I almost took the vest off after 2 miles but reminded myself of all the people who lost their lives, all the service members protecting our country, including my daughter who is currently deployed overseas. Thank you to all who serve and let us never forget 🇺🇸 9/11/2001

What a fun night with my BFF HARDY….and a few others. Already looking where I can see again! This was my 4th time seeing him in concert and he never disappoints

My momma ❤️ felt so many emotions this weekend! We gained a daughter! 🥰Congrats to Samuel and Karingtin, 💒 it was a perfect day! (Lots more pics to come when we get the professional ones back).

And then today had to say goodbye to Elizabeth 😭, who is deploying overseas later this month and we won’t see her for about a year. She’s excited and I’m happy that she gets to see parts of the world but man, it sure is hard on my momma heart 💔

from Montana Spartan beast and super 2 weeks ago, and Fayetteville ultra last week. These races 1 week apart but very different weather…Montana 40’s and 🌧️ , Fayetteville 80’s and ☀️ both mentally and physically challenging but got them done ✅ 💪🏻. In Montana I earned by 2x and in Fayetteville I earned my 3x up next Mohican trail 50 miler 😳, my longest race yet!

Mental and physical challenge to get to the finish line and then drive home 8 hours immediately after finishing. Made for a 23 hour day…but I made it to the finish line with a 🥉 place finish 💪🏻

Our 1st campout of the year, and in one of our favorite campgrounds and city! Good ole Nashville, TN. We picked this weekend to come down here because today I was suppose to run the Rock 'n' Roll Nashville race, but no race for me 😢 last week during my 12 mile run I had chest tightness/pain that radiated up to my left shoulder, I’ve had this several times before but this time it was much worse. Decided after I got showered (had to wash the stink 😷off) to go get checked out. I was expecting them to run a few tests, draw some blood, tell me I was crazy 😜 and everything was fine and send me on my way. Bloodwork showed a possible acute cardiac injury and ER’s don’t fool around with the ❤️, so I earned an ambulance 🚑 ride (no lights and siren) to a different hospital for further observation. I was devastated because I missed Anna Graces Friday night dance competition and my soon to be daughter in laws bridal shower 😭. I was discharged the next day with strict instructions of no exercising 😭, and to get scheduled for an echo and angiogram. Now I’m pretty certain everything will come back fine but I’m being good and following orders just in case. I don’t want to be one of those runners that fall over with a heart attack at the finish line. So I’m having major FOMO missing todays half marathon in Nashville and it’s perfect race weather ☀️ but we are having a blast in Nashville with friends. I’m hoping to get the all clear next week so I can run the Cap City half marathon in Columbus and Montana Spartan trifecta weekend in 2 weeks. This not running/exercising is tough! I miss it so much, I won’t take it for granted anymore 😊

What a weekend!! Action packed from Friday- Sunday. Started with work at 4:20am 🥱 Friday, followed by a 12 mile run 🏃🏻‍♀️ with Alli, (I was super slow, thanks Alli for hanging with me), picked my girl Elizabeth up from the airport Friday afternoon 🙌

Friday evening Elizabeth got Octavia time, while Katy, Anna Grace and I went to see For King and Country in concert 🎶, what a show! It was Anna Grace and Katy’s 1st concert and we couldn’t have picked a better one.

Saturday we started with a workout with my girls at orangetheory for the 12 min tread benchmark 🏃🏻‍♀️, followed by chipotle and dying Easter eggs 🥚, then a surprise birthday party 🥳 for my uncle.

Sunday started with Easter Sunday church, followed by a 6 mile run 🏃🏻‍♀️, and then fun time with family. It’s always a competition to see who can get in the pool 1st 🥶 😂.

Couldn’t have asked for a better weekend. Love spending time with family and friends.

Proud mama and proud coach 🥰 post. Anna Grace, my baby, joined Orangetheory almost 2 months ago 🧡. She loves it and pushed herself and got out of her comfort zone and completed the dritri sprint, which starts with a 1000m row, 150 reps on the weight floor, and finish on the tread with 1.55 miles. She crushed it 💪🏻 🤩, she’s already asking when it is again so she can beat her time.

was also an epic event! Started with bench pressing a % of your body weight, I had to do 85 lb, managed 15 reps and then you run a 5k… pretty happy with my results…didn’t pr my 5k but finished in 23:11. It was def a fun and challenging event! And I can’t wait to do it again next year.
