From Forest Grove To Researching The Mysteries Of The Universe Logan Switzer '25 will spend Summer 2024 in Switzerland as one of 15 undergraduates from the U.S. selected for an internship at CERN, the European Organization for Nuclear Research.

Beginning March 2024, this 3-month virtual cohort initiative will provide a professional development experience that enables students to interact with peers and subject matter experts in a variety of topic areas within aviation and aerospace.

NASA’s Glenn Research Center (GRC) seeks to strengthen its collaboration with Engineering & Science Departments within U.S. Universities and Colleges by offering Capstone Design projects to Senior-Year undergraduate students. The projects provide authentic research, design and development opportunities for the students who will be guided by GRC subject matter experts. The Capstone collaboration will connect university and college students with Glenn opportunities which merit academic course credit.

NASA's Glenn Research Center (GRC) in Cleveland, Ohio, is hosting a 2022-23 University Student Design Challenge (USDC-7) with aeronautics- and space-themed projects. The competition is open to teams of full-time undergraduate juniors or seniors enrolled at accredited U.S. academic institutions. Multidisciplinary teams of three-six members are encouraged. Each university or college team must have at least one faculty advisor. Participants will have access to GRC’s subject matter experts who will serve as mentors for the teams.
