May is Month and to show our support for those whose lives has been affected and to honor those whose lives were cut short we are turning our profile 🩶

It’s our mission to raise awareness and to provide education about early cancer detection and prevention because the more you know the more chances we have to continue to and is the best way to keep the disease from taking more lives !

An estimated 23,890 adults are diagnosed in the US with a primary brain tumor, 3,540 children under the age of 15 will also be diagnosed with a brain or central nervous system tumor this year. Brain tumors can be deadly, significantly impact quality of life, and change everything for a patient & their loved ones. They do not discriminate, inflicting men, women, and children of all races and ethnicities. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
In addition to primary brain tumors, there are also secondary brain tumors or brain metastases. This is when the tumor started somewhere else in the body and spread to the brain. The most common cancers that spread to the brain are bladder, breast, kidney, and lung cancers, as well as leukemia, lymphoma, and melanoma. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Join the F**k Cancer team for the Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation’s “Reaching For The Cure” race on Sunday, March 24th. We will be racing in honor of our little warrior, Teddie, who has been brave & resilient through her fight with cancer. She is our why and together we fight for the young ones in the ring with pediatric cancer.

All who register under the F**k Cancer team, will receive a black F**k Cancer logo t-shirt to race in with the Reaching For The Cure logo on the back. We ask all the F**k Cancer team members to walk the 5k race together, in our black team shirts, to show our support for the young fighters, thrivers and in loving memory of all our warriors in heaven. We’ll have a F**k Cancer team tent, onsite, as the meet up point on race day.

You can also race the half marathon, 10k, and/or 1k then join us for the 5k walk after at no extra registration fee.

As many of you know, I donate my time to the F**k Cancer foundation by running their F**k Cancer Endurance Club. Over the years our team has raised over $400,000 to help those currently fighting cancer. Every year our team sets a goal of $100,000 to help create an experience for a warrior and their family in Kona at the IRONMAN World Championship.
