For her senior project, Monte Vista Student Board Member Saylor Rettig raised more than $1,000 to purchase items for Lincoln Elementary teacher Jenna Argomanizβs classroom. Argomanizβs preschool students with autism were gifted art supplies, sensory items, swivel stools, games, and educational tools. Before starting this project, Rettig intended to become a trauma surgeon, but now she plans to study neuroscience. Board President Carol Crane, Vice President Krista Weigand and Trustee Lisa Pearson, as well as Principal Kristin DeMicco, joined Argomaniz in accepting Rettigβs generous donation.
