Late summer basil harvest means pesto! Pasta salad that is. With fresh walnut pesto, mozz, roasted red peppers; capers and tomatoes. Hearty and refreshing. ☺️

I’m so excited to share that my dear friend has come up from Austin to join the LaBo team! I can’t wait for you all to meet him. Here is a pic on film (something he still adamantly uses) of us at the soft opening party for in 2022. This is going to be so fun!

I’ve been waiting for great cantaloupe, and it has arrived! Perfectly sweet and in peak season! This salad has chopped burrata and crunchy/salty salchichón to balance out the sweetness of the melon. Aleppo pepper for a kick! Come thru.

I’ve been searching for a pistachio cream like this one for over a year! Lucky for me the owners of this little small batch company reached out. is based out of Oregon and inspired by the owner’s family ties to Italy! Creamy, nutty and sweet, it’s perfect on toast, ice cream, as a dip for pretzels or cookies or in a latte!

Trying out a new variation of falafel! Fresh spring peas, herbs, spices and chickpeas. With our lemon tahini yogurt (or hummus if vegan) and served on a bed of arugula with a tomato and cucumber salad!

Summertime calls for Gazpacho! I do love how every gazpacho is different, and mine is especially cooling with watermelon and seasoned with a little smoked paprika. ☺️ Hope you try it!

What has been dubbed “girl lunch” is flying out the door at the shop this week! Housemade Caesar dressing featuring anchovies and olive oil, crunchy romaine, freshly toasted “croutons” and ala minute mircroplaned Parm. Divine. Try adding chicken or crispy chicken skin! With a side of fries? To die for!

This English pea puree will delight you with the freshest flavor of spring vegetables. Sweet and creamy. Then we have chickpeas 2 ways, one soft, one roasted and crunchy with Aleppo pepper. Cucumber, sumac and za’atar for a salad vibe, and drizzled with pomegranate molasses for that sweet and tangy finish! Happens to be vegan!
