HP Arts
Supporting the arts in HPISD, K-12th. Art, Band, Choir, Dance, Debate, Orchestra, Theatre, Writing.
HP Arts is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting arts education in the Highland Park Independent School District.
Reminder to all our fabulous fine arts teachers, you may submit HP Arts funding requests to support your brilliant efforts educating our students starting this month. August’s deadline is the 18th. You can find the form at the link in our bio (click on TERF under “HPISD Teachers”). Thanks so much!
We are grateful to have been able to fund so many amazing fine arts programs across all the HPISD schools this last year and look forward to continuing to do so. Thank you again for donating! Just a little reminder that BSSU closes tomorrow. :)
Please consider donating to HP Arts during BSSU. Your donations in the 2023-24 school year, along with the amazing support of La Fiesta de las Seis Banderas, enabled us to fund nearly $87,000 in teacher requests across all 8 HPISD schools plus Pre-K. But there are so many more projects that we could fund with your help.
Some highlights from this past year included much-needed instruments, refurbished bagpipes, choreography/visuals for musicals, art supplies, as well as author visits and literary workshops.
Thank you for your past and future support...it is beyond appreciated by all the schools, the students, and the fine arts teachers who tirelessly work to creatively inspire our kids each and every day.
Love seeing these Armstrong music students with their new Note Knacks. The Note Knacks help with music composition, and each student having their own saves a ton of time in the classroom. Work smarter not harder! Way to go, Eagles! 🦅

We LOVE seeing these 6th grade art students explore new methods and techniques with their Gelli plates! They also had a special presenter visit their classes to show them how to use the plates. 🎨
Go Raiders! ❤️💛
So cool!! ✨🌎
We are proud to help co-fund an educational expert (to manage and operate) for HPISD’s Digitarium-Pierce Planetarium to expand the district’s STEAM educational opportunities as well as broadening the use of this space to include immersive arts programming and events.
The immersive experience of the Digitarium brings sciences, cultures, and arts to life in a unique and captivating way, displaying images in a “FullDome”. The Digitarium can guide students through the view of the night sky tonight and fly classes through outer space to see our galaxy from a new point of view.
In addition to the visual experience, students will have the opportunity to design and witness the effects of sound, music, and images to create a collective, emotional connection to the content.
The Digitarium’s dramatic visual display can be used as a backdrop to performances by the choral and small ensembles (such as this cello performance this past month).
The acoustics and visual power in the space are EXCEPTIONAL. ✨
We are delighted to co-fund writing workshops for HP LitFest 24! The entire high school student body participated in these sessions. It was an AWESOME lineup of presenters! Go Scots!! 💙💛
