OPEN AUDITIONS for an outdoor production of THE TEMPEST, directed by Samantha Grace at Dallas College Mountain View Campus. Cold readings from the script or monologue on May 20-21 from 6-9 pm in Room W-37-west side of campus-enter Duncanville Road parking and the W/H Building doors. FREE outdoor Shakespeare in West Dallas...crazy, no? Calling all actors for auditions for a Dallas College-Mountain View Campus summer production of THE TEMPEST, directed by Samantha Grace. Once again, the Dallas College Mountain View Campus Theatre Department is looking for ten-minute plays to produce for the eighth annual ROD WILSON 24-HOUR TEN MINUTE PLAY FESTIVAL, May 17-18, 2024.
Student and/or local actors along with MVC alumni will join professional DFW directors for twenty-four hours to present a Saturday evening, May 18 @ 7 pm performance. Six or seven staged ten-minute plays will be followed by an audience/actor/director/playwright talk back. There is no limit on how many plays you can submit, no theme for the festival-just keep in mind that many of the actors are teens and twenty-somethings!

Nick Leos is seeking an ensemble of diverse actors of all types and ages and experience levels to play characters in the MVC Theatre Production, THE HAPPY PRINCE, adapted from the story by Oscar Wilde.
This will be a devised piece, auditions will consist of improvisation games as well as cold readings from the script. This is a fairy tale world filled with talking birds, royals and townspeople and lots of small and large parts to play. Non-speaking roles available, and all abilities encouraged to audition.
Actors with experience in dance or physical theatre, puppetry, circus, magic, singing, musical instruments, DJ-ing or other special skills welcome! Must be available for evening and daytime shows, March 6-8, 2024. Questions? Email [email protected]
