11/1 - we’re devastated and heartbroken to share the heartbreaking news that Raven’s foster family found her at 3am but unfortunately she had been hit by a car and did not survive 😔💔

We’ll post a tribute to our sweet girl another day as we currently don’t have the words and are in shock

We extend our deepest sympathies to Raven’s foster family as well as her Good Samaritan who rescued her from the streets approximately two months ago - we’re grateful Raven found love from everyone who met her ❤️

🚨LOST DOG - TSDP Raven is missing! 🚨

Closest main intersection is 380/Monte Carlo Blvd in Princeton, TX

She ran out of the door of her foster home on Arbordale Way around 830pm and we need all the help we can get physically searching the neighborhood, posting flyers/lost dog signs, etc as sightings are often what's key in reuniting lost dogs!

Raven is the sweet dog who chased the car and eagerly wagged her tail whenever her Good Samaritan went to feed her at a park when she was originally on the streets and had to be trapped so we anticipate she might be acting skittish so please do not chase and instead report sightings, thanks!

She’s on medication for tick related illnesses so it’s especially important to reunite her with her loving foster family asap!

We all love her dearly ❤️

says hellooooooo! 👋🏻

Are you looking for a pup with a whole lot of personality? Fonzie is your guy! In fact, he’s is known around TSDP as “Mr. Personality,” because the little guy is so full of life, love, and laughter-inducing puppy antics.

Fonzie is a 6-month-old, 22 lb boy who was found roaming the streets along with a few other dogs. Fonzie is doing great in his current foster home, where he loves to have fun. This little cutie gets along great with his canine foster siblings. All in all, Fonzie is the kind of pup who’ll win you over for ever and ever.

Hi, here! 👋🏻
Want to know a fun fact? Or should I say a very sad and depressing fact about me. I haven't received one single adoption application of interest yet and it's been several months since I've been in the care of TSDP. 😭😭😭 Does that mean no one loves me or thinks I'm pretty or maybe just assume I wouldn't be the most loving fur companion to a lucky family?! But I'm just going to stay strong and keep smiling and stay positive that my forever family is out there somewhere and I'll be here waiting for them when they are ready to find me.

More info about me:
❤️ 4.5 years old, 47 lb, gsd mix
❤️ Extremely intelligent & loyal
❤️ Needs a patient adopter to help me adjust to new environments but once I feel comfortable I'm a very silly, happy girl!
❤️ Loves other dogs & want a home with another dog sibling
❤️ Leash trained, house trained & still working on crate training
❤️ Loves long walks where I'm allowed to sniff, sniff, sniff!

I hope I can find a patient and loving family who I can give all my love to forever and can also show me love in return!

XOXO,
Monroe

🥳 ADOPTION ANNOUNCEMENT 🥳
has been adopted! 🎉🏠🎉

Prince was rescued from the same rural location as a litter of puppies that we saved in June 2023 (that included ). We believe Prince is one of their younger siblings. Unfortunately despite numerous attempts, their mom never went in the trap 😔

Prince is really outgoing and friendly so we were worried he'd fall into the wrong hands while out on the streets. Thankfully a foster was found and JP tossed chicken into a crate and Prince went right in and began his life as a beloved rescue dog!

Thank you so much to JP & Magdalena for rescuing Prince and a very special thanks to Erin & Michael for fostering & adopting sweet Prince (now known as Finn)! Thanks for sending this wonderful update. ❤️

"We are so happy to have Finn (fka Prince) in our pack! He has made fast friends with his brother, Alfie, and his husky brother from another mother, Oslo. When he and Alfie are not engaged in a rousing game of bitey face or Pyr-wrestling, he enjoys dips in the pond with his pals at outdoor day camp. Finn is currently up to a svelte 95lbs, which he uses to full force to pull us toward everything that catches his eye while on his walks. Finn is incredibly smart and is currently doing great in his obedience class! We could not be more grateful to The Street Dog Project for rescuing him and bringing him into our lives."

“Hello, people! I am , and I am looking for a foster or - even better - an adopter!

I’ve been waiting quite a while for my own forever home. That has left me with a lot of time to think about why I’ll be the perfect pup for some lucky humans.

1. At 2.5 years old, I’m past those puppy shenanigans, and at only 37 lbs, I’m a pocket sized cutie.
2. I’m already well-trained! I know my name and basic commands. And I’m even excited to learn more!
3. I’m a go-with-the-flow kinda gal. Whether we’re going for walks or car rides or just hanging out, count me in.
4. As for just hanging out, I am an A+ cuddle buddy. I have the softest fur, which makes snuggling with me extra cozy.

Like I said, I need a foster or an adopter. If you live in the Dallas area and want to learn more about fostering or adopting me, click the links below:”

As of last month, has been in our care for over a year, waiting for a foster or adopter. And who knows how long she was on the streets before that. All that to say, sweet Ruthie has been waiting to land herself a home for a very long time.

You may recall that a Good Samaritan rescued Ruthie from the streets last September. Poor Ruthie had a bullet wound to her face. On top of that, she was pregnant with ten puppies! Ruthie was a wonderful mom to her ten babies, all of whom have found wonderful forever homes.

In our time with Ruthie, we’ve learned that even though Ruthie is 5 years old, she is a puppy at heart. Ruthie is looking for a foster or forever family who will take her on adventures. Ruthie is an active lady who likes to be on the move. Additionally, Ruthie likes to keep her mind active, so things like puzzle toys are her favorite. Ruthie is house trained, crate trained, and leash trained - so she’s ready to roll!

Ruthie is a resilient girl who hasn’t let her past get her down. She cannot wait to enjoy all the amazing things a life of love has to offer. Perhaps with you or with someone you know?

is looking for a forever home!

And that’s great news for you because this guy is CUTE!

Norman is a 9-month-old, 25 lb guy who loves playing with other dogs and showering his foster humans with love. He’s mastering his training like a total champ and feeling so excited to find his happily ever after.

Do we really have to remind you that is simply the best?

Minnie is a 4-year-old, 54 lb terrier mix whose favorite pastime is lounging on the couch. Sure, she’s down for the occasional zoomies in the yard, but she knows the couch is the place to be. Minnie is a very good girl - in fact, she’s great with other dog, cats, and kids. She’s house trained and leash trained. All in all, Minnie is a mellow lady who will be such a wonderful addition to a very lucky forever home.

is approximately 5 months old and 22 lbs and is growing up in foster care!

We love fostering the Fonz but hope he’ll soon find a loving family of his own so they don’t miss out on more of his puppyhood!

If you want to double the fun, please let us know if you’re interested in adopting Fonzie with his favorite puppy sitter, 😊

They have playful moments but also spend a good amount of time napping and chewing on nylabones and lounging on the couch 😊

We know it’s rare to adopt two dogs together so Fonzie can also be placed separately but we think he’ll be happiest with at least one dog in the home or with a family that’s willing to provide frequent play dates with friends/relatives dogs 😊

Please let us know if you have any questions about these sweet pups!

is a true hidden gem here at TSDP. This little lady (only 20 lbs) is still camping out in boarding while she waits for a foster or adopter. So we’re here to tell you to scoop up sweet Vanilla Bean!

We rescued precious Vanilla Bean from the streets along with two of her puppies. This 2-year-old cutie is a low-key girl who may do her own thing at first (like laying in the coziest spots she can find), but once she gets to know you, she’ll follow you around with her tail wagging enthusiastically, hoping for some cuddles.

Vanilla Bean would be fine as an only dog or with another smaller, mellow dog. This sweet girl is house trained and crate trained. Vanilla Bean would also be fine with humans who are away from home a bit during the day; she’ll use that time to snuggle up on her dog bed and play with her toys.

Wednesdays are for Wendy!

is the kind of dog who will have you questioning how you ever lived a life without her in it. Wendy brings so much happiness and zest for life everywhere she goes that you can’t help but to feel the same.

Wendy is a 2-year-old, 45 lb cattle dog/heeler mix in search of a foster or adopter. She wants you to know that she’s very ready for life in a home, as she’s already house trained, crate trained, leash trained, and up to speed on her basic commands. Wendy loves going on adventures, but she also loves a good snuggle on the couch. She’s super soft, so she makes the best cuddle buddy.

Wendy is looking for a foster or forever home where she can be her humans’ one and only dog. But trust us - Wendy has so much love to give, she’s the only dog you’ll need!

There is nothing natural about large numbers of unfamiliar dogs partaking in high-intensity activity in a dog park, and this shouldn’t be the benchmark for a social dog. If your dog is not their best in such an environment, you are not doing anything wrong. 👏👏 There is nothing wrong with your dog. 👏👏 Your dog is normal. 👏👏
