Today on the final day of camp, the boys design camp presented their prototypes to their families. They presented some pretty great ideas and prototypes!

This boys design camp spent the afternoon working on their prototypes. Looks like they are off to a great start and have some great ideas!

This morning the boys design camp was given the egg launch design challenge. They designed a device that can protect an egg when launched from a catapult.

Today the boys completed another design challenge. They used the skills they learned in their workshops to build mousetrap cars that could carry tennis balls.

This morning the boys design camp worked with the Hunt Institute on the EVIE project. They learned how to engineer solutions to urban gardening.

Today our TEDxKids camp discussed how to deliver and write the conclusion of a speech. They were able to deliver their own conclusions in front of their peers and teachers.

This afternoon the boys continued going through workshops. Today they focused on solidworks and coding.

The boys design camp completed another design challenge. They were assigned the Rube Goldberg challenge. They built devices that uses marbles to create a chain reaction.

The TEDx Kids camp worked on writing and adding context to their speeches. They presented their context section and received feedback.

Today the boys design camp spent the day going through workshops to work on their skills in circuit and laser cutting. These skills will help them with their final project.

Today was an exciting day for the boys introduction to engineering camp spent the morning learning about circuits and how they work. They were able to build their own circuits to light up LED lights. You can say they had a pretty bright morning!
