It may be hot this summer, but our Fall concert season is going to be even hotter! 🔥 This season is going to be particularly special as we will celebrate the 35th anniversary of Sammons Jazz! 🎺 We are so grateful to all those who have supported us over the years and are so excited to be sharing the talents of our local jazz legends with you all! Two such artists, Sammons Jazz Artistic Director and Steinway Artist Arlington Jones and his son Arlington "Ollie" Jones III have been a regular staple of our concert series since 2011 when Arlington joined the Sammons team. Like with Arlington and Ollie, our Sammons Jazz concerts will have you bouncing your feet and swaying to the beat! Be sure to check out this season's lineup on our website. 👀

With artistic direction under Loris Anthony Beckles, this organization has been part of the Sammons Center of the Arts family for about 20 years!! This May, they celebrated an impressive 29 years of dance excellence bringing their unique blend of ballet, jazz, and African dance to our community! 🎉

Beckles Dancing Company remains dedicated to making dance accessible by offering free classes both in person and via live stream, enriching our community with the joy of movement and cultural expression. 🌟

Boléro is a Bruce Wood audience favorite for good reason. It's sexy, sultry, and seductive, offering a clandestine look at late nights on the edgier side of life. Set to the iconic score by Maurice Ravel, Boléro has been raising heart rates since its premiere in 2001.
Sharing the bill with Boléro are SMILE, the jazzy and upbeat world premiere by Artistic Director Joy Bollinger, and the reprise of Twyla Tharp's glittering and glamorous Nine Sinatra Songs.
