For eight years, the Institute has sponsored the Wonder Girls Camp for the Crisis Center of West Texas in Odessa. The camp hosts girls entering junior high to join their STEM, arts, and empowerment day. Four full days are spent on STEM activities, art projects, fun competitions, guest speakers, and lessons to build confidence and self-esteem.

The InfantRisk Center in Amarillo is an international call center for pregnant or breast feeding moms. Studies are conducted to determine pharmaceutical risks and guidance is provided. A current study on the Determination of Semaglutide (Ozempic) in Human Breastmilk Following Dosing, was partially funded by the Institute. Congratulations to the researchers on their recent poster presentation award and ongoing research!

GiRL Power in Corpus Christi brought important information to 10- to 14-year-old girls and their moms for "Girls Just Wanna Have SUN!" Sixteen-year-old Jordyn Wright and her mom Anissa motivated the attendees and the Texas A&M University Corpus Christi Islander cheerleaders and dance team gave them confidence to MOVE! What a great time!
