Earlier this week, the Leduc Center team, accompanied by State Representative Christopher Hendricks, Chancellor Mark Fuller, and Assistant Vice Chancellor John Quinn, had the pleasure of visiting some of our Jumpstart and America Reads sites in New Bedford. These two programs focus on early literacy within the SouthCoast region by providing support in preschool, elementary school, and afterschool programs.
We extend our sincere gratitude to our partners at NorthStar Learning Centers, Inc., Boys & Girls Club of Greater New Bedford, and the New Bedford Housing Authority for warmly welcoming us into their daily activities! Your dedication to these programs and the children you serve is truly admirable.
THANK YOU TO OUR UMass Dartmouth STUDENTS! These programs would not exist without you. Your willingness to share your knowledge, experiences, and compassion with the children you work with not only enriches their lives, but also shapes the future of our communities. We are endlessly grateful for all that you do.
Lastly, thank you Representative Hendricks for your ongoing support!
