It's the LAST DAY of Spring Farm Adventures! We'd love to see you and your preschool aged kiddos here at The Farm at Wilderness Experience from 9:30-11:30! The cost is $5/participating child.

Farm Adventures is from 9:30-11:30, and is for parents/caregivers and their preschool-aged kids (recommended ages are between 18 months-5 years old). Babies are welcome to tag along (there are no accommodations for strollers here- we recommend a baby carrier). The cost is $5/participating child per session. Pay online, or pay with cash when you get here!

Day Camp registration opens tomorrow at 8:00 am! This is just a reminder that registration for Wilderness Experience Summer 2024 Day Camps opens tomorrow at 8:00 am. In past years, we have had some camps fill within hours of opening so don’t delay!

At Wilderness Experience, your kids will be immersed in learning new skills, and will have the very best time becoming proficient in them!

If you want your kids to be outside all day, grow in their relationship with Jesus, have fun with friends, and cultivate a love for God's creation, then is the right place for them to come to camp this summer!

Merry Christmas! We have been so blessed in this past ministry year as God has continued to expand Wilderness Experience. We had over 400 kids in preschool - 7th grade participate in one of our programs during the year!

It's a gorgeous (and WARM) morning here at The Farm for our last week of Fall Farm Adventures!

We'd love to have you join us with your preschool-aged kids to press apples for apple cider either today or Thursday from 9:30-11:30!

Wow! What a wonderful turnout for the kick-off to our Fall Farm Adventures Series! It was a gorgeous morning, and we could just feel the tinge of fall in the air.

If you weren't able to make it today with your preschool-aged kids, don't panic! We know that FOMO is real, so that's why we have two days of the same session! Come and join us this Thursday for the exact same lesson that we did today!

-The cost is $5/participating child (If you have older children participating, and you're ALSO toting around a young baby, you don't need to pay for the baby.)

-This program is recommended for kids aged 18 months-5 years old.

-You can either register online or in-person. We do appreciate online registrations to help us with planning and preparing the materials needed for each session.

We're excited to have you out to the farm. It's a great way to connect and meet other parents of similar aged kids!

Catching up on some fun memories!

Last week was very full here at WE! One new and exciting thing that happened for us was that we got to partner with a local school, and their entire kindergarten came for a field trip! We had about 75 Kindergarteners here over a two day stretch. It was so much fun, and the kids (and adults) learned a lot!

We're so very grateful for the opportunity to be a part of our community in this way!

*The Farm at Wilderness Experience is NOT stroller friendly. If you have an infant, we suggest wearing them in a baby carrier! We do have a space to accommodate moms who are nursing, as well as a restroom on-site.

We had such a wonderful afternoon and evening with all of our WE Board Members and their families for a work day and potluck! SO many sticks were picked up, wood chips spread, leaves raked, intern kitchen cleaned, garden beds tended, wheel barrows filled, lambs snuggled, games played.

We are incredibly grateful for all of the support that makes WE continue on for so many kids and families to enjoy, and most importantly, to hear and learn about the God who created them and loves them.

The tarp is up!! Let's bring on the new camp season! We'd love for you to be praying with us for each child that will come to WE this year. 🎉

Our Garden Share is primarily run by our work-study students as part of their experience here during the summer. All of the proceeds from the Garden Share go directly to support the programming and mission of Wilderness Experience.

By choosing to purchase a share from Wilderness Experience, you are not only getting delicious veggies, but you are helping to further our mission to: “help our community pursue Christ by experiencing His creation!”

Each week, the box will contain a mix of fresh veggies from the garden and bread from our brick oven. When available, eggs and maple syrup can be purchased each week when you pick up your box.
*If you are unable to pick up your share you may have a friend pick up your share. If you do not pick up your share by the end of the pick up time slot it will be donated.

Cost: $480 for 16 weekly boxes from May 31st-September 20th

*Please note there is no share on July 5th.

Shares will be available for pick up on Wednesdays at Wilderness Experience between 2 p.m. and 6 p.m.
