“What’s at stake more than anything else, at least in my heart, maybe in the hearts of other bishops and pastors, is the right to be who we are in our places of worship, in our schools, in our religious institutions."
- Auxiliary Bishop Joseph Williams
There’s nothing equal about leaving out religious protections in the so-called “Equal Rights Amendment.”
Today, Minnesotans have shown up in numbers to urge our legislators to stop the religious discrimination.
This Bill is serious! This legislation directly impacts the human soul. This Bill matters. We must act to prevent this from becoming LAW in MN.
Urge Your Legislators to Oppose the ERA This year, the state legislators have proposed language for a state constitutional amendment called the “Equal Rights Amendment” that would force women’s rights and religious freedom to take a backseat to harmful gender ideology.
PLEASE SHARE!
Join us for a momentous day of prayer, unity, and advocacy as Minnesotans come together to oppose S.F. 37, the Erosion of Rights Amendment (ERA), and champion the protection of religious freedom for all faith groups and individuals. In a state where diversity is celebrated, we must stand united in safeguarding the rights of individuals to practice their beliefs freely and without fear.
Specifically, we will be coming together to pray for and urge legislators to oppose the so-called "Equal Rights Amendment" that fails to protect Minnesotans from discrimination based on religion, could constitutionally mandate legal abortion up to the moment of birth, and promotes harmful gender ideology.

Support Real Care, Oppose Assisted Su***de Our efforts to stop this legislation are working. Proponents of the bill have updated the language to address some of the concerns we have raised, but no revisions can make this bill acceptable. The updated language still has many concerning provisions, including:

Support Real Care, Oppose Assisted Su***de Assisted su***de is neither compassionate nor about real choice. Protecting the choices of a few by legalizing assisted su***de will endanger the health care choices of all.
Look closely. This picture represents the people we will be missing in MN this year. The Class of 2041 is without 12,000 plus fellow students. How do we tolerate this sort of loss? Are our hearts so hardened that we can't even see what we are doing to each other? Each of us was CREATED FOR A PURPOSE!
