What an incredible first week of our Summer Intensive! We are so impressed with everyone’s hard work and dedication throughout these long and hot summer days!

Dancers have had the opportunity to learn from OBT company members and Co-Artistic Directors Oleg Gorboulev and Mara Vinson in classes such as technique, pointe, variations, pas de deux, jazz, conditioning, and character. We can’t wait to see retuning and new faces next week!

Young dancers in this group (ages 7-11) are mastering their technique, working on conditioning and flexibility, and building a strong foundation for their future ballet training journey. Keep up the great work, boys!

Don Quixote opens this Saturday! Students from multiple levels get to dance alongside OBT company dancers as they experience what it’s like to be part of a major three-act classical ballet production!

They learn so much more than their steps - choreography, acting, musicality, and most importantly, the value of working as a group to bring the art of dance to the audience.

This time last month…
Wonderful time with our wonderful students Finals in St. Pete! We are so proud of the work that they put in on the daily and it was thrilling to see them all shine on the Mahaffey stage!

Want to spend the summer training with YAGP award-winning school and faculty? Audition for Olympic Ballet School’s summer intensive programs, open to dancers 10-20! ☀️🩰

• Junior Intensive (July 15 - 26)
• 4-Week Intensive (July 8 - Aug 2)

Our boys summer intensive is a great opportunity for male students to improve their ballet technique, learn classical ballet and contemporary repertoire, and build strength through weight training and conditioning classes.

Students may attend one week or both weeks (June 17-28, 2024). Classes are Monday - Friday, 4:30-7:30 pm.

Our first audition is this Saturday, January 27, at 9:30 am in Studio C. Pre-register today and spread the word about this training opportunity!

Do you know a little girl or boy who loves to dance? Our new Saturday morning classes may be their perfect introduction to ballet and movement!

In the Creative Movement class, children get an opportunity to explore free movement and improvisation to music, foster creativity by using props, and enhance their rhythm, balance, and coordination skills.

The Kinder Ballet class focuses on natural movement with an emphasis on developing flexibility, strength, rhythm, focus, and coordination.

OBS classes are cancelled today, Thursday 1/18, due to icy road conditions .

Following the Edmonds School District closure due to icy road conditions, all programming will be cancelled today at the Frances Anderson Center, including Olympic Ballet School classes. Stay warm and safe and we’ll see you back in class when the building reopens!

📣 NEW CLASS ALERT!
We are offering a beginner/intermediate adult open class on Thursday nights in Studio A! 7:00-8:30pm taught by dancer Alberto Gaspar. No registration required, drop in as you please. $20/class or $175 for a 10 class punch card.
