Here’s to our 263rd Quartermaster Company from El Paso, TX. Currently providing support to the warfighters at WAREX at Ft McCoy, WI. The 263d provides laundry and bath support. A unique capability that fits our motto, fuel the fight. Two things that a person appreciates, clean clothes and a clean body.

The team successfully received and showed CSM Beatty, Army Reserve CSM, the technical aspects of operating the machines and how they support warfighters. Oh, and showing some patch pride as part of the 4th ESC 😀

There are many paths one can take. Making changes along the way, as one evolves, is in the realm of possible. That’s one of the beauties of the Army Reserve.

This is Isaac Toyos. He Enlisted at 17 years old as a 92F and an E-1. He worked his way up to SFC and served in assignments that included Petroleum Supply, Petroleum Inventory NCO, Recruiter, and Support Operations NCO. He decided to expand his career goals and commission as a 2LT.

He applied for OCS and attended OCS in Fort Moore Georgia. After 12 very challenging weeks, he graduated and commissioned as a 2LT. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Emergency Management and Homeland Security, A Masters Degree in Executive Leadership, and another Master in Legislative Affairs. His wife, Onayda and he are expecting their first child in September (yeah!!!!)

He’s 2x a citizen and we’re proud of our newest 2LT.

Trooper of the week- PLS. Today we recognize SGT Snow, Randy assigned the duty of assistant convoy commander for task order 047. He demonstrated strong leadership qualities and moral integrity in the week preceding the convoy by going above and beyond the call of responsibility to make sure all relevant tasks were finished on time. He took an active role in route mapping communication and short halt placements that didn't interfere with the mission timeline during convoy operations. The acts mentioned above contributed to the convoy's successful conclusion and served as a foundation for future convoy operations in this region. 🫡 Excellent Work SGT Snow!

USAR TPUs Only: The 77th Quartermaster Group is advertising and soliciting applications for a qualified Non-Commissioned Officer in the rank of SSG (P) or SFC for the Equal Opportunity Advisor position located in El Paso, TX. All application packets must be received by 14 June 2024 for review and consideration. Non-Commissioned Officers requesting consideration for this position should submit their packet electronically, in a single PDF file, via email to [email protected] [email protected], with "Subject Line: Last Name, First Name, EO Advisor”. Pleaese send a email to the POCs for the announcement IOT apply.

Position Requirements:
a. Be a member of the Army Reserve and assigned to an Army Reserve TPU Program Unit.
b. Be in the rank of SSG (P) thru SFC with less than 18 years in time in service upon completion of the Defense Equal Opportunity Management Institute (DEOMI). Time in service is waiverable.
c. Must be fully deployable and eligible for mobilization, currently have an up-to-date PHA, and have a “green” MEDPROS status.
d. Have served in a leadership position. Must have an outstanding duty performance: a review of the individual’s evaluation reports will be included.
e. Must not have been punished under the provisions of the UCMJ during the five years preceding the nomination.
f. Must have a minimum of three years of service remaining upon completion on DEOMI.
g. Have a passing ACFT and meet height/weight requirements IAW AR 600-9.
h. Must not have been the subject of a substantiated EO/Sexual Harassment complaint or subject in a sexual assault crime.
i. Must have a general technical score of 110 (waiverable).
j. Maintain a minimum PULHES profile of 111221 (waiverable).
k. Must maintain qualification standards throughout the EOA assignment. USARC EO will be notified once Soldier no longer meets minimum requirements.
l. Possess a valid Secret security clearance.
m. Possess an approved family care plan, if applicable. EO Advisor are subject to travel to conduct Staff Assistance Visits, conduct/assist unit level EO training, USARC EO symposiums/trainings, teach/participate in Equal Opportunity Leaders Course,and other EO related matters to manage the Group’s MEO program effectively.
