π Better Together ND at the Cooper House Parking Lot Party! π
Today was an incredible day as we joined the community at the Cooper House Parking Lot Party! Grace, Katie, Alexa, and Mason were all there representing Better Together ND. We had a fantastic time sharing resources with the community alongside numerous other agencies.
Our contribution? A basket of housing supplies for the event's drawing! π β¨
Huge thanks to Community Options for organizing such a successful event that brought our community together! π€π
We're thrilled to share that Mariah received a thoughtful gift bag from our friends at Community Options! π This incredible agency has been a fantastic partner in our efforts to provide 1915i housing and peer support services.
The gift bag included delicious chocolates, a stylish coffee tumbler, and a heartfelt thank you note. This gesture was in appreciation of the many referrals Mariah has made while providing 1915i Care Coordination services with Better Together ND.
Our collaboration with Community Options has grown into a strong business partnership, thanks to our mutual dedication to supporting our clients. Together, we're making a positive impact in the community! πͺβ€οΈ
Our care coordinator Sydney said in perfect words what it means to be a care coordinator for BTND with this heartwrenching story π
Right now, Sydney is at the ER with a participant who has many health issues she doesnβt understand. With no family or friends by her side, Sydney is more than happy to be there, providing support and assistance in any way she can.
βWhen someone asks me what being a care coordinator consists of, I usually just say getting someone housed, getting personal identification, or into whatever services they need. But really itβs so much more than that. Itβs advocating for their mental health when they canβt. Itβs being their support when they have no family or friends. We will answer calls and talk to someone who is in crisis even after hours.β - Sydney
Sydneyβs dedication and compassion exemplify what it means to be part of Better Together ND. Thank you, Sydney, for all that you do! π

Join us in celebrating Donald's incredible transformation and support our mission to create more stories of hope and change. πβ¨

Last week, our amazing care coordinator Katie had a special moment with one of our participants. They took a trip to the Fargo Housing Authority, where our participant signed a one-year renewal for her housing voucher! π‘β¨
This milestone represents more than just paperwork; it's a significant step forward after years of experiencing homelessness. To celebrate, Katie treated her to a well-deserved treat at Sandy's Donuts. βοΈ
What might seem ordinary to many is a huge achievement for those we serve. We are incredibly proud of her progress and the hard work of our dedicated team!
π Twinning in Style! π
Today care coordinators Briana, Katie, and Alexa showed up rocking matching outfits! Love the team spirit! π
A couple of weeks ago, our dedicated care coordinators Jordyn, Grace, and Jess made a trip to Wahpeton to help Jordyn's client during Cleaning Week!
Her client, living with multiple sclerosis, was unable to manage the cleaning herself. Our team spent 3 hours transforming her space, providing much-needed support and care. πͺβ€οΈ
Check out these pictures to see some of the things they discovered and the progress they made compared to before!

π Big shoutout to our care coordinator Lindsey! π This week, she showed incredible compassion by going beyond the call of duty for one of her clients. When her client tragically lost her grandson and needed to travel to Minnesota for the funeral, Lindsey didn't just stop at connecting her with resources.
Recognizing the client's need for extra support, Lindsey took matters into her own hands. Knowing that the client couldn't afford to board her beloved pup, Lindsey offered to take care of Roamy herself. Now, with Roamy safe and sound, the client can focus on what matters most without worrying about her furry friend.
Lindsey, your kindness and selflessness truly make a difference in our community. Thank you for embodying the spirit of Better Together ND! ππΎ
πβ¨ Making Birthday Magic Happen! πβ¨
A few days ago, our care coordinator Alexa teamed up with the amazing gals at Box of Balloons to create something truly special for little Miss Pennelope's 2nd birthday! π With hearts full of joy and arms full of goodies, they worked together to make Pennelope's day special.
Every moment was filled with laughter and smiles. And let's not forget about Pennelope herself β her mom dressed her up in the cutest dress just for the occasion! π
A huge shoutout to Alexa for her dedication and to Box of Balloons for their endless generosity. Together, they made magic happen and created a great memory. π Happy Birthday, Pennelope! Here's to many more moments of joy and celebration ahead! ππ ππ
π Incredible Community Impact Alert! π
Let's take a moment to celebrate the remarkable work of our care coordinator Jessica! π‘ Three weeks ago, Jessica played a pivotal role in providing housing for a woman and her three precious children. π It all started about a month ago when Jessica made a referral to Down Home!
Yesterday was a day of transformation as furniture arrived, turning a house into a warm and welcoming home! ποΈ Thanks to the incredible team at Down Home, every room, from the living area to the kids' play space, received a touch of love and care.

π Let's give a round of applause to Jordyn, our incredible care coordinator, for making a significant difference in the life of one of our Free Through Recovery clients! π
On March 13th, this client officially got off inmate status, marking a pivotal moment in her journey towards a brighter future. But her journey doesn't stop there!
Today, under Jordyn's guidance and support, our client achieved another milestone: signing the lease for her very own apartment! π
Moving into her own space today, our client is embarking on a journey of self-discovery and growth, with the tools and support system provided by Jordyn and Better Together ND.
π€ Together, we're not just changing lives, we're building futures. Let's continue to uplift, empower, and inspire each other every step of the way! πͺ
