The Somali community is one of the major ethnic communities in the Fargo-Moorhead area. Most of the Somali refugees started to arrive here in the mid-1990s and since then, the number of Somali refugees has been increasing rapidly. Also, our community has seen a huge increase in secondary refugees who have moved here for decent employment prospects, top-notch schooling, integrated community support
