It's been so long since I posted a wedding preview directly to Facebook, but hey- new year, new(ish attempts at improving self) me!

Yes they were freezing, but I only kept them outside for a collective 4 minutes (we're not counting the minutes the groom stood in the cold waiting for the first look), and Liesl and Eric flew off to a very warm honeymoon after this- so eager, they told me they weren't even staying at their reception past 6:00pm.

I was SO pumped to shoot at this venue! It was gorgeous and the only time I've ever gasped and drug a bride and groom into the bathroom with me because I saw pretty wallpaper.

Lauren and Corey - your day was so beautiful, and your family and friends are so amazing (tell your mom and dad thanks again for being my personal Liquid IV suppliers lol) I am so happy your day turned out so beautifully (but not surprised knowing you were in charge. of planning, Lauren!)

Taylor + Clayton | Sanctuary Event Center

I went into this day expecting the vows, speeches, and tears to be focused on how grateful we all were to even be celebrating this day, knowing that Clayton had unexpectedly suffered a stroke and subsequent multiple brain surgeries last January.

And the whole ordeal WAS mentioned, of course. We were all thinking of it, but it definitely did not define the day, which made it even sweeter. It wasn't the main focus- it just gave everyone that extra little bit of gratitude to be there.

Congratulations Taylor and Clayton! It was a beautiful day, weather-wise and heart-wise. I am so happy I got to be a part of it, and so thankful to know you both.

We all had the happiest day (ok, Vanessa and Danica were probably the happiest of all, but don't underestimate how excited I was about the cupcakes). I was so glad to be a part of it and to get to know these two! Congrats, Danica and Vanessa!

Before we even talk about how stunning Kallie looked- I have to give her all the credit for being such a cool little cucumber about the fact that their brunch wedding was rained out. I literally don't think I heard her mention or stress about the weather ONCE.

I think these two were my earliest Covid-reschedule, which makes sense for these two lawyer types. They assessed the situation and pivoted quickly and decisively. It was a long wait for this day, but it was so wonderful to finally see them get married (and an extra year of planning must mean you have the time to make everything perfect, because it was literally a perfect day.

So happy for you two! (and Daphne)

Meet the gorgeous wedding that made me question my career. Was the bride a bridezilla? Groom a jerk? Nope- sweetest couple ever and I've known them a couple years now (this is the 2nd wedding in the family I've photographed)

So why? THE HEAT. OMG. I tried to prepare. I brought a big floppy hat that promptly broke, personal fans (then the batteries ran out), tons of water (turns out water doesn't do much in this heat compared to something with more electrolytes) and yet I still was a red, sweaty, bossy photographer who just wanted us all out of the heat.

So one more time, here I am- making a public service announcement to all the bridal party members: I swear I'm much nicer and not usually that bossy! (I literally snapped my fingers and clapped at one poor distracted groomsman at one point. 😅) I promise I just wanted us all to make it to the wedding without passing out!

Tailor and Jordan- I adore you two and your family so much! Thank you for inviting me into your homes (and for letting my 2nd shooter rest on your grandma's bed so she didn't get heat stroke lol). I'm so, so happy for you!!

The moment I walked in, I knew this was going to be a PARTY. Every single person at this wedding was SO pumped to be there and ready to have the time of their lives (including the bride and groom).

And it was the best of both world, because amid all the partying, there was Noah- tearing up reading his vows to his sweet bride and watching her walk down the aisle.

You guys (and your parents!) are amazing and your dances will go down as the most entertaining ones I've ever seen. Thanks for letting me run around and try to keep up with your crew all day!
