There is a certain amount of madness it takes to direct a play, to direct 100 of them is a whole special level of insanity. I have known Bryce almost for nearly a decade, and cant count the number of prodeuctions I've shot with him involved. Tonight, with the Studio Vibe Dance & Performance production of Newsies, he closes his 100th show, and shows no signs of stopping. Looking forward to many more productions in the future.

Have you heard the news? The Studio Vibe Dance & Performance production of Disney's Newsies opens tomorrow at the TAK Music Venue. I've been working with Studio Vibe for over half a decade now, and I have to say, this is one of the best shows I've seen them put on stage. I've been waiting nearly a month for this shot, the new Paradox Comics-N-Cards neon sign, with neon by Chris Orth, finally got lit up tonight. It's a beacon on Main Avenue, literally the brightest thing in the night sky after dark.

Opening day was really an amazing thing to experience, watching wave after wave of people coming into the store, and seeing huge grins from ear to ear as then took it all in. To Rich, and everyone at Paradox who made this amazing space happen, my hat is off to you. You've created a jewel of a store downtown, and now have a truly magnificent space for it to shine on Main Avenue.

After being closed for a week to set up their new location, Paradox comics opened its doors at 814 Main Avenue. It's a fantastic new space, and a amazing home for one of my favorite places to hang out downtown.

Every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end,...

For the last six months, I've been sworn to secrecy on a project. Last night, a major chapter in it came to an end. For the past half a year, I've been documenting the end of an era in downtown Fargo. Paradox Comics-N-Cards is leaving behind their location of 30 years at 26 Roberts Street, and moving to 814 Main Avenue. Last night, was their final public event in the building. I had the absolute privilege of being one of the last people to be in the building when the shut off the lights and locked their doors to the public for the last time at their old location.

I first stepped foot into Paradox almost 30 years ago, when I was working my way through college as a pizza delivery boy. I dropped off a large pepperoni pizza, and walked out with a Sandman t-shirt as a tip. Ever since then, Paradox became my geek home where I could stop in, discuss comics, movies, tv and be around like minded nerds.

I have so many photos to share of not just this ending, but their new beginning at what is one of the coolest new spaces for us fellow nerds to hang out at. I look forward to seeing you all when they open their doors at "new DOX" at 814 Main Avenue next week. I assure all my fellow Paradox friends...you're going to absolutely love the new space.

Wanted to share some of the vignettes that were created for the Vibe Dance & Performance Frozen promotional poster. The specific request from the client was to create an image that incorporated the sisters relationship as it progressed throughout the musical using the three sets of actresses that protray them in the production, which meant I needed to do quadruple duty on the artwork creating four individual pieces, and combining them together into one single final artwork for the poster.
