⚠NOTICE: All Fargo Public Library locations are REOPENING to the public with adjusted hours MONDAY, JAN. 25, 2021.
Hours at all FPL locations starting Monday will be:
• Mondays & Tuesdays from 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.
• Wednesdays & Thursdays from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
• Fridays from 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.
• Saturdays from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.
• Sundays – Closed
In addition, Limited Curbside Pickup services will be available at all FPL locations on the following days and times.
• Tuesdays from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
• Saturdays from 1 – 5 p.m.
We look forward you seeing you in person!


Please note: To keep patrons and staff as safe as possible,
• Masks😷 will be required for visitors age 4 years and older at all times.
• Social distancing is required.
• High-touch surface areas will be cleaned and disinfected frequently, and hand sanitizer and wipes will be available for public use.
• Seating is also limited for the time being at all library locations.
• In addition, all meeting rooms, conference rooms, study rooms and the Wiggle Room remain closed.
• No onsite library programming is scheduled until further notice.

Due to the COVD19 pandemic all Fargo Public Libraries will be closed until further notice. If you need assistance please message us here, contact Jillian via her work cell at 701-371-9110, call the shelter at 701-476-4145.

Missing Person: We are looking to locate Rodney Lajimodiere, 62 year old male, 5'6, approx. 180 lbs, blue eyes, and brown hair. Rodney has not been in contact with his family in about a month and his last known location was the Grand Inn in Fargo, but he is no longer staying there and his whereabouts are unknown.

Starting tomorrow, during my office hours at the library, we will be doing a sign up for half hour time slots instead of walk-ins. I know many have been frustrated to come during my office hours to find that I am currently meeting with someone and/or that other people are waiting for me before you have arrived.

If you can’t reach me via phone or Facebook feel free to stop by the library to sign up for a slot 🙂

Sorry for no recent posts! Things have been crazy! I will be at my office today at the library from 3p-5, tomorrow from 4-6 and will be at Homeless Health Friday morning.

Missing Person

The Fargo Police Department is seeking your assistance with locating Gabriel McCloskey, 21 year old male, who was last seen in Fargo on February 28, 2017. McCloskey is American Indian, 6'4", 165 pounds, has black hair and brown eyes. McCloskey was reported missing in August by his family after they had been unable to contact him, which is unusual. We have been unsuccessful in locating McCloskey and ask if you know where he is to contact our Investigations Unit at 701.241.1405.
