On October 16th, we commemorate International Food Sovereignty Day, a moment to acknowledge and honor the remarkable dedication of peasant farmers, who are responsible for more than 70% of the world's food production. These dedicated individuals frequently confront the challenges posed by climate change, unfair trade agreements, land disputes, and corporate influence.

During this Talanoa, we will have the privilege of learning from experts in this field about the concept of food sovereignty and strategies to bolster it worldwide. Let's engage in this important conversation and explore ways to empower and reinforce food sovereignty globally.
