Lost Woods Farm
Sharing our small piece of the world - an old farm taken over by the woods.
Hard to tell size from the picture, but Tuck pulled this 75lb stump out by hand, lifted it into his arms, and carried it 10ft!!!
I owe him $100! Hahaha
Had some of our favorite folks out to visit Saturday and Sunday! I think little man might try to become a chicken farmer soon!!
This little one decided to climb. It’s going to be the accidental experiment for next year’s watermelon walkway!
Found some turkey vulture chicks in our old pig barn. Mama was close by so we didn’t stick around.
Little hummingbird got trapped on the porch. It let Lana pick it up and take it outside!
Pumpkin no.1
Boy are we excited.
Tucker and I were cleaning up outside and we found this little guy stranded in a trash bucket. He couldn’t get out on his own, so we gently picked him up for a photo op and put him on a nearby tree. Tiny little fella!
Had some wild flower seeds. Threw them randomly around in a bare spot of on of the fields. Look what popped up after the last rain!!!
That’s a large Luna moth!
We have some new additions. 4 so far.
Picked us a little salsa bowl this morning.
Got our daily handful of blueberries!
Not tomatillos… These sweet little ground cherries are starting to fall! Courtesy of our neighbor, we have several plants producing. Must try for anyone with a garden that likes to grow a sweet summer treat!
Note: I eat the sour ones that fall prematurely, but wait for them to turn yellow and fall onto the ground. Green is sour!
Little kung fu master on the peppers
We’re growing watermelons y’all!!!
More of the garden. Have some butternut squash, a random pumpkin, our ground cherries, and some strawberries!
Peppers and cukes!
Things are getting ripe out here
Trying to keep cool today!
Feeding Pig and Another Pig breakfast, after a little play in the water hose.
Yesterday was very yellow.
We have muscadines popping up everywhere
Titus valiantly scared off this beauty, last week.
Been loving the blackberries and blue berries that Tucker and I picked. They go great in my yogurt.
Just in case I forget how lucky I am, my honey left a little message on the coop I’m building.
Getting veggies!!
We live in paradise.
Titus, taking a break from running everything and everyone off of the property.
I’m pretty sure this is the hen that the kids call Chicken Nugget. She’s our best layer and is always a character.

At Stoll's Farm we grow quality garden plants in the spring, watermelons and cantaloupes in the summer, and we make old fashioned sorghum in the fall.
