Dear Members and Church Leaders,

I write to you today with a profound sense of urgency and concern. As we approach the November 2024 election, it is crucial that we fully comprehend the gravity of what is at stake. Project 2025 poses a massive threat, and the decisions made in this election could determine the continuance or the ultimate death of democracy and the hard-fought rights of people of color in America.

While I cannot tell you who to vote for, I strongly encourage each of you to educate yourselves on the implications of Project 2025 and the stakes of this election. Our collective future depends on informed and conscientious participation in the democratic process.

The National Kingdom Builders Association's mission to excel in the stewardship of the church includes a steadfast commitment to social justice. Even as we are in the stages of infancy as an organization, we dare not sit by and fail to inform our members about matters as pertinent as this. It is our duty to stand firm in our faith and advocate for justice, equity, and the protection of democratic values.

The Louisville Institute Pastoral Study Project Grant (PSP) awards grants of up to US$20,000 to support individual or collaborative study projects on Christian life, religious practices and institutions, and possibilities and ideas for the church, our communities, and the wider world. Grants are awarded to skilled and innovative clergy, lay leaders, and staff working in diverse Christian contexts in the United States and Canada.

Who is eligible for a Pastoral Study Project grant?
Eligible candidates:

* have received theological education, training, and/or mentoring for Christian leadership
* are employed in diverse ministry contexts in the United States and Canada

It is with a heavy heart that we share the news of the passing of Mr. Jimmy B. Horton, the beloved father of our member, Overseer Kortney Horton. We extend our deepest condolences and heartfelt sympathy to Overseer Horton and his family during this difficult time.

Mr. Horton was a beloved father, and his legacy lives on through the love and memories he has left behind. We pray for peace and comfort for Overseer Horton and his family as they navigate this period of loss. As we mourn his departure from this world, we also look forward to the reunion to come when Christ returns.

Overseer Horton, our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. We stand by you in this time of sorrow. In the midst of this sorrow, we find solace in the words of the scripture, Psalm 34:18: “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”

We are thrilled to announce a significant transformation at the National Kingdom Builders Association, Inc. As part of our commitment to growth and innovation, we are revamping our brand identity to better reflect our modern and forward-looking organization.

Our new brand identity retains all the symbols given to the Association at its inception. This rebranding process was expertly handled by our retained design firm, The Stop Six Company, and was further enhanced by the pro-bono services offered by FutureBrand, a global brand transformation company renowned for its work with brands such as American Airlines, Nestlé, and Bentley.

In the coming month, we will be updating our website and social media platforms to reflect our new brand identity. This new look is a true representation of the National Kingdom Builders Association, Inc. as a forward-looking organization that values its members and is committed to serving the community.

Furthermore, we will be revamping and resending member certificates to align with our new brand. This will serve as a reaffirmation of your valuable affiliation with our association.

Change can be challenging, but we assure you that these changes are a step towards a brighter and more exciting future for our association. We appreciate your continued support and look forward to embracing this new chapter together.

In the grand design of life, consider our pastors as the engineers, the architects of faith, diligently overseeing God's divine blueprint for His church and His people. They are the stewards of the Master's plan, working tirelessly to ensure every detail aligns with His divine design.

"According to the grace of God given to me, like a skilled master builder I laid a foundation, and someone else is building upon it. Let each one take care how he builds upon it." - 1 Corinthians 3:10

These spiritual engineers bear the weight of multiple roles - a pastor, a spouse, a parent, and above all, a Christian. The stress they endure is immense, yet they stand firm, guided by their faith and commitment to serve.

"Be shepherds of God's flock that is under your care, watching over them—not because you must, but because you are willing, as God wants you to be; not pursuing dishonest gain, but eager to serve." - 1 Peter 5:2

In this journey, let us extend grace and understanding. For even the best engineer can make a mistake. But trust them, for they are driven by a higher calling, committed to getting it right, to building a church that stands strong in faith and love.

"For we are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do." - Ephesians 2:10

So let's stand with our pastors, our spiritual engineers, as they labor to build according to God's blueprint. Let's support them, pray for them, and most importantly, let's trust them. For they are not just building a church, they are shaping lives, molding hearts, and guiding souls towards God's eternal kingdom.

They are the engineers of faith, the architects of the soul, and the builders of God's Kingdom. Let's honor them, support them, and above all, let's pray for them. For they are not just building a church, they are shaping lives, molding hearts, and guiding souls towards God's eternal kingdom.
