The Owls had the exciting opportunity to meet former NFL players Kieth Davis of the New York Giants and Jamar Green of the Seattle Seahawks. These remarkable athletes shared their inspiring stories and emphasized the importance of Dreaming Big. The Owls learned the valuable lesson of P.U.S.H.- Persevere Until Success Happens! This powerful message encouraged them to stay determined, work hard, and never give up on their dreams!

Today, Tarrant County College visited our 5th grade students. During the session, students explored the numerous pathways to success and had the opportunity to learn about the degrees and certificates offered at TCC. It was an awesome experience for these owl scholars.

The Smarty Party competed at the Elementary District Book Battle today. This awesome team won 3rd place! We are so proud of these readers.

The Wayside Band is hosting our annual Instrument Test-Drive Day THIS SATURDAY, April 27, in the Boswell High School Band Hall from 9:00am-3:00pm! If your student is interested in learning an instrument next school year, this is a great opportunity for them to come try everything the WMS Band has to offer. If your student is signed up for band, we highly recommend that they attend-- classes will fill ups fast! All fifth graders zoned for Wayside can come, regardless of if they are signed up for band next year! Please enter off of Bowman Roberts Rd, park near the marching band practice field, and follow the signs inside the building. We look forward to meeting you and your students and starting another year of musical adventures soon!
